PRO ELEC PELB1625 1-Way to 3-Way Switched Socket Converter

A nice solid feeling piece of electrics. It does sit out a bit, but no more than any other surface mounted box. The wiring is straight forward and the places to put the wires and screw them in are well thought out. You even have multiple choices for how to wire your earth. If you know how to wire a normal wall socket, then you will have no bother with this. It went on quickly and worked flawlessly.

Unbelievably poor quality. Facia plate and box do not fit together and the switches feel as though they will break. Returned for a refund.

Bought to replace a single socket.It's very prominent, back box is 35mm deep and front plate is another 10mm thick so you certainly cant miss it when installed.Build quality is solid, but it isn't particularly easy to install.Due to the depth of the back box, wiring from inside a single socket may not reach the position of the terminals. (Earth wire in particular)Wiring will be long enough when connected, but trying to get the wiring to reach terminal whilst angling the socket to access the terminal screw, is a real challenge. As stated by others, don't unscrew the terminal screws too far, as they will drop out and fall internally into the socket - they are very difficult to shake back out.Once installed socket works fine, but due to its size I'll choose differently in future.

Appears to be fairly well made triple electric box. Be careful not to over tighten the face plate. I don’t recall it coming with instructions.
