*Update* This scale was fine for a few months until I invested in a Tanita neonatal scale.I use this scale in my private practice as an IBCLC. It is easy to transport when making home visits and I have found its measurements to be accurate and on par with more costly alternative scales.

Disappointing product!
Very very disappointed! I ordered a brand new weighing scale and they gave me a defective weighing scale which is unable to weigh.

HORRIFIC PURCHASE
In all my years as an Amazon Prime Member, I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED IN A PRODUCT. I decided to purchase the scale for a medical office in my hometown. Based on the reviews, I thought this would be the best option. However upon arrival, the scale does not record a weight, it just turns on and the sensor does not work to measure the weight, the display does not move from 0.00 no matter what is placed on it. I changed batteries but to no avail. I had to carry it to a local repair man, who said the sensor was defective, so I had to pay extra money to fix. As I live in Barbados, it was not easy to send this item back to seller.I am very upset and would hope something can be done for future purchases by prospective buyers.
