Intensely Spicy Flavors
I decided to give this ramen a try because I love spicy food and was curious how it would compare to others I’ve had. The noodles cooked up nicely and had a great texture, much better than typical instant noodles. Right from the first bite, I could tell this was going to be heating up quickly. The spice creeps in and by the end, my lips were tingling and my nose was running. It was a bit more intense than I expected, but I appreciated the depth in the flavor from the beef broth. It does pack quite a punch, so I would recommend watching how much spice you add if you're not used to heat. This could definitely be something I keep around for when I want a quick, spicy meal.On the flip side, the flavor is quite dominated by the spice, which may not be for everyone. If you’re looking for a lot of other flavors, this might be a bit lacking. The broth is also quite salty, which could be a downside if you’re monitoring your sodium. Still, it’s a satisfying bowl of ramen that I enjoyed, especially on a chilly evening.Pros:- Excellent spicy flavor- Hearty portion size- Convenient cooking processCons:- Overpowering spice for some- High sodium level- Saltiness may not suit everyone's palate

Heat level 1-5 ….Def a 5
But I would give these five stars and the only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars is because this… these noodles are hot as hell. I’m used to draining most of my water and then putting in my flavor packet in which I did with these but abort mission do not do that. Your mouth will be on fire for hours and you will not know how to make it stop! if you’re going to try these they do have amazing bold flavor and the flavor is so good but after that flavor goes away and that heat kicks you, it does not stop. If you can handle the heat, then definitely buy these. They’re so good. I wish I could handle the heat more because the flavor is amazing. Next time I’m gonna put in half the packet. Hope that works.

Good heat, savory, bold, and flavorful
This MEP ramen tasted very good, exactly like how I imagined beef ramen to. The noodles get soft and easy to bite through. It soaks up the juice pretty good but I always take a spoonful of sauce with noodles. It had a good heat and you could taste the savory umami, cracked pepper, and beef seasoning. They were not shy with their flavors, which I appreciate, but that also means there is A LOT of sodium so be sure to drink at least 2 glasses of water with it.I prepare it by boiling water, open the noodle and seasoning into a bowl, then scoop out 2 cups of the boiling water into the bowl, garnished with cilantro and green onion, wait about 5 minutes stirring often, and then eat away once my tongue can tolerate the heat. Very easy process. Overall, I highly recommend this brand, it's a bold taste at a fair price. I want to try their other Garlic & Clam flavors too.

Salty!
This ramen is SALTY!!! Yes, obviously ramen is salty, it is notorious for its high sodium content as a food product. But even by ramen standards, this is particularly high in sodium. I love ramen. I eat it weekly, a variety of brands and flavors. There are many delicious kinds that range between 40-60% DV for sodium (which, granted, is already high) and this one is a whooping 87%!The flavor is otherwise fine. Tastes good, but nothing unique. I appreciate that there is noticeable heat as far as spiciness goes, but not sweat and snot inducing.

Very spicy
This is a very spicy ramen. The spice is obviously not in the flake packet, the flake packet has a small amount of veggies and meat flakes. The noodles are just instant noodles, nothing special, nothing wrong with them.I like super spicy things. The spice in this is hot to start, then builds upon itself. By the end of eating the noodles I had a runny nose and burning lips.I just had the broth left and knew I had to take one for the team so I could make a review. The broth gave me a huge spice throat hit, after a few seconds my eyes were watering from the spice. My daughter looked at me with concern, I told her not to go near this stuff - she likes spice, but nothing like this. To give myself a comparison on heat level I ate a tablespoon of tobasco sauce right after. The tobasco was not noticeable. This was much less spicy than extra hot mango pickle. If you do not like spicy, don't buy this.If you do like spicy, buy it and be ready.

Hot soup, high quality noodles
This ramen is super spicy, in fact it is THE hottest one I've ever tried, hands down the best. The chili overpowers pretty much everything else, I couldn't tell if it's beef or chicken flavor, but I like spicy noodle I don't care other flavors. The quality of noodle is comparable with the ones sold in small restaurant, better than most instant noodles. The amount of noodle is quite generous, it enough for one person. If you try it, I suggest to use a half packet of spices and see if it's hot enough. Otherwise you may feel it's too hot.

Very Spicy!
The MEP Black Pepper and Beef Flavor was easy to make. Just boil water, add noodles, spice packet, and flake packet. Then boil 4 minutes. I like a little spice to my food, but this was super spicy. I actually couldn't even eat it because my mouth was on fire. My son loves spicy food and he enjoyed it, but did say it was very spicy compared to other Ramen he has had (which is a lot). So, if you like spicy food, give it a try! Seems like a good value.

Delicious
I know it says spicy but holy cow is it spicy. I only used half of the packet and I was burning my face off. I was not ready for the heat and I like spicy things. I forget sometimes that ramen spicy is truly spicy. But I digress, it tastes great overall and has the little pieces of veggies and beef. It definitely has a depth to the spice too which I appreciate. The only cooking instructions are to make it on the stove top but I think you could probably use the microwave method too. It has a higher quality noodle and tastes great overall.
