I love this ethernet splitter! It has eight ports, which means that you plug your ethernet internet cable into one of the ports, and then you can plug up to 7 devices into any of the other ports, so that each of these devices has a wired internet connection. And I love how small this device is (smaller than the other major brands' similar devices), so that it doesn't take up hardly any room at all on the shelf of an entertainment center, or computer desktop, etc. It also has slots on the back so that you can hang it on the wall, if you want to, so that it takes up zero shelf or desk space. The device was very easy to setup: No directions are necessary. This device seems to be very well-built, with a sturdy case made of ABS plastic. This device is slightly warm (but just barely) when in operation (as you would expect), but it does not get as warm (or hot) as another well-known brand that I've owned before. The lights on this device show you when it has power plugged in, and they also show you which of the eight ports are currently connected.I started off with one of these, but liked it so much that I had to buy three more of them so that I had one for each internet/entertainment hub in our house. I highly recommend these, especially if you don't have enough jacks available to plug devices into in order for them to have an internet connection (via ethernet wired connection.) You can plug this device directly into your router, or/and you can also plug one in to an ethernet wall jack anywhere in your home.

I can’t speak to how this item holds up in a network that is running 24/7. I bought it for my tech backpack to set up an ad hoc network on the go when I need to do support in the field. It’s worked flawlessly for that. It is small and lightweight which is exactly what I was looking for in this use case.

This ethernet switch just works. My new ISP router didn't have enough ports so I bought this to add more. It was very simple to use and works perfectly. It does require a power connection so keep that in mind. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone needing a splitter/ethernet switch.

I wanted a simple switch to hook up between my laptop and the main ethernet cable in my office so I could plug in various ethernet devices without having to go to another location. I has worked great and it's a great price.

It's a great little ethernet switch, easy to set up. No problems and fast enough for me to game and run servers.

Item did not work the first time i plugged it in, However after slapping it a few times gently, It started to work, I dont know for how long it will continue to work, but we will see!

Works , only needed beachse the new spectrum set had too little ports for all the devices

This little 5-port switch is barely as wide as 5 Ethernet ports, and not much thicker. It works great, but my only knock is that it has a one-off power adapter. By that I mean that is not powered by a standard connector like USB-C. I’m just about done with things that charge or power any way other than USB-C. All that said, I have put it into use and won’t be moving it around, so the one-off adapter is not really an issue.
