What can I really say about a pull-buoy other that it was very comfortable to use and as it had a durable but cushioned feel and was contoured to fit almost any leg. I practice with swim buoys frequently and can attest that this is MUCH more comfortable to use than the scratchy, non-contoured, hard styrofoam cheap pool buoys that you can get for less and feel like you are getting the inside of your leg shaved with a dry razor. If you are a serious swimmer, consider this one and you will have hours of "enjoyment" doing those long workouts!!

It floats nicely and is shaped well. It’s a bit too large for kids though, and gets scratched and deformed easily.

My physical therapist told me to get this to reduce the stress on my L5-SI joint while swimming (yes...it is meant to allow more oxygen to get to the arms but that wasn't my goal). The challenge was swimming with it for the first time; I felt like an octopus trying to mate with a sprinkler head. Ended up hurting my back as a result LOL (well...not really). I had to consciously learn to relax my lower extremities and let this little pill keep my legs elevated.Now that myself and the sprinkler head have called a truce, the swimming with this float has elevated my quality of life. Just wish somebody told me to relax and enjoy the swim in the first place!

Our 16-year-old joined her first ever swim team this year. New to competitive swimming, she had great instincts but had much to catch up in training and technique. The full team was assigned to buy a buoy and we chose TYR based on reviews. Four months later, the difference is her upper body strength, tone, and confidence is stunning. The float is still in excellent condition after these months of daily workouts in the pool.

It’s been almost 2 months I’ve been using it 3-4 times a day, very helpful practicing my swimming & made swimming very easy & enjoyable for me as a beginner. I see a little chips here & there but it’s possible that my 2 year old might’ve used her nails. Very happy with the purchase.

Before using the pull float, I was only able to swim 4 or 5 laps in a 25 yard pool before my back began to tighten. I now regularly swim 800-1000 yds every other day.Is it better than other pull floats? I don’t know. Haven’t tried others. All I know is this profit is effective and easy to use, looks the same as is did when I bought it several months ago and if lost it, I’d buy another immediately.
