Double Poled Solution
I've had a faulty pull cord switch in the shower room for over a month. The pull cord operated the light and fan extractor. There is also an external switch high up on the wall outside the shower roomwhich turned the extractor fan on and off.The main problem was that none of the shops i tried sold a double poled pull cord switch, and no electricians were available to help. All the electric shops sold 3 poled switches not four poled or double poled. In desperation I contacted Kettering Home Appliance Repairs to see if they knew of an electrician who could help out. They did not know of any available electricians but asked me about my predicament. They advised me to go online and search for double poled pull cord switches and here I am. I installed it and now both the light and extractor power on when the cord is pulled with the extractor staying on for a period of time after the light is turned off.Thank you seller's this excellent but rare product. Those people that recommended this product were spot on. Thank you ll very much.

Easy to install
Great for what i wanted it for but as other people have said the knock out slots to fit cables through are only possible to get out using a screwdriver and hammer not an ideal way of doing it as it could break the whole switch

excellent product
Does exactly as described, seems to be of a syurdy and durable construction, I used it to act as a switch for an extractor fan in a bathroom

Just the job
It seems very good so far - nice easy pull and quieter than my previous switch. My use is a little unusual though because I wanted a double pole switch, one pole being used to switch the light circuit as normal, while the other being used to switch the 12 volt led that I have used to replace the standard mains-voltage neon (I have12 volt mains failure lighting in my bathroom as it has no natural light). The led now has a dual purpose, 1) to indicate whether the switch is on or off (even during mains failure) and 2) to confirm that the standby automobile battery is charged and working correctly. The leds I purchased from Amazon even fitted the orange neon holder perfectly as well, so I'm well pleased.

Double pole pull switch with neon light indicator
Bought to replace an existing pull switch of this same model because the existing one sometimes requires an excessive force to switch it on/off. This replacement is no better than one I already have, it still functions fine but seems to require too much force at times, not all the time just ad-hoc, a bit irritating but not the end of the world. Using it as a ceiling switch to operate a bathroom fan

know what you are doing ?
Click have been around as an electrical manufacturer for a long while and make great products. This indicator switch rated at 16 amp is great for bathroom extract fans etc. but does require a 3 core and earth cable to it and not the normal 2 core and earth cable found at a normal bathroom light switch.when wired correctly it is a great indicator as to when a bathroom timer fan has turned itself off.

Cheap and Cheerful
Really hard to open the desired cable entry point, feels like the casing will crack rather than the entry flap. Operation is one click (rather than the click-clunk many such switches make). Feels like it is already broken, but it isn't. One of the cap retaining screws went cross-threaded. Switch part is attached to the back plate; neon is part of the cover and connects to two pads on the switch. Neon reasonably bright.
