This mascara has earned its spot as my absolute holy grail after trying countless others over the years! I keep coming back to this one because when it’s at its sweet spot, nothing else compares. The formula gives me the perfect combination of length and volume without looking overdone or fake.The wand design is honestly perfection - it grabs every single lash, including those tiny corner ones that other mascaras always seem to miss. The bristles are spaced just right to separate and define without pulling or tugging. I love how it builds up beautifully for dramatic evening looks but also works great for a natural daytime appearance with just one coat.I do have to mention the one quirk that keeps this from being absolutely flawless: the first few uses are definitely too wet and can get a bit sticky, which leads to some clumping if you’re not careful. I’ve learned to either let it air dry with the cap off for a few minutes before first use, or just apply extra slowly and use a clean spoolie brush to separate any clumps. Once you get past those initial applications, the formula reaches this perfect consistency that applies like a dream.The staying power is excellent - no flaking, smudging, or raccoon eyes even through long workdays or emotional movie nights. It comes off easily with makeup remover but doesn’t budge with regular face washing or light rubbing. It gives my lashes incredible length and volume without clumping. The brush is flexible and really easy to work with, even on the smaller lashes in the corners of my eyes.What I love the most is how lightweight it feels — my lashes look dramatic but never feel heavy or stiff. It also holds up all day without smudging or flaking, even in humid weather.

Super impressed with this mascara! It really coats your eyelashes without looking gloppy. My eyelashes are starting to get thin with age and this mascara really makes them look thicker instead of looking like I have too much mascara on. The brown I bought is great and the applicator brush is very comfortable and targets just the lashes instead of your eyeballs or eyelids!!!! It is also a clean mascara: It doesn't smear easily and washes nice. The price is great too. I am very happy with my purchase and will buy it again. YAY!

This mascara is truly lengthening and makes my lashes look twice as long at least. It’s not clumpy either which I appreciate . However, it flakes off easily and little pieces were all around my eyes at the end of the day. Otherwise, great mascara and overall I would recommend!

Mascara: Sky High in Y001/Very BlackThe photos are 4 sets: 1 no mascara (2pics); 2-3 coats of mascara (both eyes); more coats (1 eye) applied around at 830am; mascara at 430pm after a hot day (at a sporting event) with sunglasses and a lot of sweating. I even had to wash my face twice because of the sweat.This mascara goes on smooth and clean. I don’t normally see clumps on my lashes from the application. I like that if you take your time you can get a nice coat on all your lashes. Some other mascara wands cause the inner lashes to get stuck together or clumpy. I was in a car and the ride was bumpy when I applied the mascara.My lashes are long, but with this mascara it really makes my lashes look long and much fuller.I like the mascara formula as it applies smoother than my previous brand that had tons of super reviews. That one gave me tons of clumps, smeared in the heat and flaked off. This mascara stays on my lashes, even after a long hot day. The formula keeps my lashes looking fuller and still having my lashes look like individual lashes.I’ve had this mascara for about 2 months. It is an auto subscription item now!

Love, love, love this mascara. I've used expensive ones but this one is perfect. It goes on easy and stays on and comes off with just warm water and the best part is it's affordable for the everyday working girl. This will be the only mascara I will ever use from now on, so please don't change a thing about it or discontinue it Maybelline.

This is my go-to mascara.I bought the L'oreal Telescopic mascara at the same time as I bought this. I wanted to replace my L'oreal Voluminous mascara that I'd faithfully worn for years, but just wasn't offering the length I wanted, anymore. I've been through a protracted illness and my beauty needs have changed.After trying both the L'oreal Telescopic mascara and the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High (in blackest black), I found the Maybelline mascara provided lovely length and separation of lashes even after several coats. As it is rather wet, it allows for building the volume easily. Using an eyelash curler prior is nice, but not necessary for every day looks. This stuff doesn't clump, no matter the amount you add on. It doesn't smudge. As it is wet, it transfers ever so slightly before it dries down, so take a pointy q-tip to do a tad of cleanup before finishing your face. I also really like that my lashes don't look like stiff, hairy tarantula legs. The L'oreal Telescopic provides nice length, but it clumps quickly as you add extra layers-- so, good for 1-2 swipes only. So, if you're waffling between the two mascaras, I recommend the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High.
