These are quick and easy to replace aerators that are clogged up with limescale -much quicker than trying to descale existing one. Beware! Some aerators are one or two MM deeper than these meaning you have to use an extra rubber washer to pack it out. I’m a plumber and I’ve fitted about twenty of these-good product. But only four stars because they are 1-2mm shorter than ideal.

Bought to replace tap nozzle with flow regulator that was rendering my low pressure hot water flow on basin tap unuseable. Wanted just an aerator nozzle without flow restrictor. Fitted this and was better but still reduced flow slightly from 4 litres per minute down to 3.6, so I removed the 2 plastic inserts leaving just the metal gauze filter and this restored flow back to 4 litres per minute but with a better aerated and controlled flow … perfect!

These sink filters are easy to install, fit securely, and provide great water pressure without leaks due to the rubber rings. Perfect replacement for my 24mm kitchen tap at an affordable price.
