Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics - PlayStation PS4

The games are good. Next question: why should you get this physically?The bonus factor you get with this is a comic book, exclusive to just the physical release of the games. Granted, the size of the comic is ridiculously small, obviously to fit with the Nintendo Switch cases (because they gotta save money somewhere). But when you think of physical games now being just a key to play downloaded games on your new systems, the magic seems to be lost with getting physical copies of discs. No bonus artworks inside the case, no physical, colorful manuals or guide books. Just a disc with disclaimers. But at least with this physical edition, you get something. On top of not paying overinflated prices for physical version of the older generations of these games, with updated options to help you play these games, make them fun or challenging, artworks of characters, sketches, storyboards and more you can view of the games, and all for $50? This is definitely the ride you want to get on.

One of the best collection of fighting games at such a great price!

Finally, a classic collection that holds all of the major X-Men vs Capcom fighting games. Each game generally feels great, though they are still going to have some of the difficulty and jank the original releases had. It was my surprise that Marvel Super Heroes quickly became my favorite despite the love for the Marvel vs Capcom games. In fact, most of the X-Men/Marvel focused games held more of my interest in the end. Having access to the secret characters, being able to save state, and of course access to the music library are incredible implementations. There is online for select games, though I never felt confident enough to engage. This late in the game don't expect matches of your level or for a variety of opponents. The only odd standout is the Punisher beat 'em up, but it is not entirely unwelcome.

It's Mahvel Baby. Best fighting game hands down. The new fighting generation cannot play this game. This game is advanced and has no easy input option. You're going to have to put in the work boys and girls. Also watch out for the Wazzler and Ducvader. Just have fun and don't rage quit.

This game is a masterpiece. It’s not just a collection of fighting games—it’s a stress management tool. Having a bad day? Just pick Wolverine, mash buttons like your life depends on it, and watch as pixelated carnage unfolds.The nostalgia is top-notch, though some of the AI opponents feel like they’re fueled by the souls of arcade machines that stole your quarters back in the day. You lose, but it’s okay because you were never going to win that therapy session against Ryu anyway.5 stars for rekindling my love of fighting games and reminding me that, in the Marvel vs. Capcom universe, I’m still just as bad at combos as I was in 1998. A chaotic, beautiful gem of a collection.

Game is brand new and plays great

Ordered a new copy and was sent a used copy with a lot of damage to case and art. Not in original casing (because it wasn't new) and with an "inspected" sticker on it.The game itself is good and a great collection to own, but I had to send it back for a refund because of the damaged used copy.As many know by now, but just in case anyone missed it, the comic included is small (takes up less than half of a standard manual). It is otherwise fine as an addition to the collection.Giving 4 stars because of the game itself with - 1 star because of being send a used copy instead of new, which doesn't have anything to do with the game itself.

Have played this for years,bought digital versions, but they can take it away from you. Have wanted this game on new systems . Was playing on Mame,Original Xbox,360,PS3,Android phone, Pandora's Box, and arcade . Marvel vs Capcom 2 is the main reason to get. While the others are good as well. Xmen Children of the Atom, Xmen vs SF , Marvel Super Heroes,Punisher, Marvel vs Capcom, Marvel vs SF which are all great games.These games are easy to learn and fun to play with friends. Online play is a plus , items to checkout such as original artwork,sketches, and promotional art. Get it now..
