Delicious, cost friendly for the amount you receive
For Cost, quality and flavor, this coffee is EXCELLENT. Up until recently we had been drinking an Italian coffee brand. We decided to give this brand a try, seeing that it was $10 cheaper. To say we are impressed is an understatement. It may be my new favorite. It is smooth, the medium roast is delicious, and a perfect blend. Can’t say much about the caffeine content as I drink it more so just out of habit and enjoying the flavor. The amount you get for the price is a great deal as well. I will say I’m unsure that the bags are sealed very well, considering as soon as we open the box we can smell the coffee. However, the flavor is still up to par.

Perfect Balance
I don't write reviews. But, this time...I am. I have been looking for coffee that checked all my boxes and this one did. I tried it for the first time this morning and I didn't even have to add milk. My tastes have changed over the years where I went from darker roast to the lighter ones. This one was perfectly balanced to me. I love the smell of the roast when I opened the bag. It was cheaper than Peets that I usually buy, but they have become to expensive these days.

Good, not great, but great price
I just poured the last 8 oz of the 2 lb bag into my burr grinder's bin.The coffee is good with a slightly nutty flavor and hint of fruit and chocolate, the aroma is good, I notice no bitterness drinking it with half-and-half though reviews have noted a little bitterness and dryness. It's about as good as Eight O'Clock's better roasts like Columbian Peaks but not as good as Peet's Major Dickason's Blend. The price and the taste work for me.

Wonderful
This coffee is great. I normally buy McCaffe Columbian roast, so this is what I'm comparing it to (same price difference). What I like about this coffee is the freshness, taste and aromas. I'm not used to grinding beans but I feel it makes it taste so much fresher than pre-ground coffee. It also smells devine before and after being ground up. It has a slightly lighter taste than the mccaffe but makes up for it in many other ways. As an avid coffee drinker, I recommend this coffee.

Amazon Fresh shouldn't have changed the beans/roaster
We drink a lot of coffee. When I first found Amazon Fresh Bold Dark Roast it was like stumbling upon an awesome secret. The price was great. The coffee was perfect for us. If I remember correctly it was roasted in Canada. Over the past couple purchases (we buy 4# at a time) we noticed that the beans were visually different, the coffee tastes different, and the acidity is higher. That is a problem for us. Whatever Amazon has done is not worth it to us. Sadly, we will be looking for a coffee more suitable for us once again. The original Amazon Dark Roast we were buying was 6 stars for us. This is unfortunately a mere 3 star coffee.

Added Lavender Syrup
I wanted whole bean coffee as it usually tastes better to grind the coffee fresh. This was an affordable option. The bag was a bit hard to open (tearing where I didn’t want it to), and the beans were a bit darker than expected. I filled my grinder to the limit and didn’t grind it a ton, so the grind was a little uneven. I ran it through the Keurig brewer, added Fairlife and sugar, and took a sip. That single sip seemed fine though not overly strong. Of course, then I remembered I had meant to use my lavender syrup. I added it and continued drinking it.Overall, it wasn’t a bad cup of coffee. Not strong, but I didn’t find it oily or acidic either. I’d probably buy it again, especially if I was using flavoring in it.

Only ingredients are Arabica coffee beans
Whole bean Arabica coffee. Ingredients: Arabica coffee beans. Very smooth and mellow. For $5.00 and some change this is worth it. Tastes better than coffee costing twice as much, and no wasteful K-Cups to deal with. Of course a lot depends on how fine it’s ground. I usually use less beans than what’s called for and do 20 seconds with a Krups electric coffee grinder. I use a Cuisinart coffee maker.

Tastes Like Coffee, but Better—Like a Donut Went to a Spa
Okay, so you’re probably wondering, “How in the world does a coffee taste like donuts?” Well, friends, it’s magic. AmazonFresh Donut Cafe Whole Bean Coffee is like if your favorite donut and your morning coffee had a secret love affair. And then, to celebrate their union, they decided to brew you a cup of liquid happiness. The Pros:Donut Flavor, Minus the Calories – I’m not saying this coffee is exactly like eating a donut (because if it were, I’d have gained 12 pounds by now). But it’s got this subtle sweetness and warmth that makes you feel like you're sipping a cup of fresh brewed morning pastry. It's like a coffee and a donut walked into a bar, had a couple of drinks, and became soulmates.Medium Roast That Doesn’t Yell at You – Some coffees are like that guy at the gym who grunts way too loud and slams the weights around. This one? It’s calm, collected, and balanced—just a solid cup of coffee without the intimidating "HEY, I’M COFFEE!" vibe. It’s smooth, it’s rich, and it lets you enjoy the morning without feeling like you're battling the caffeine dragon.Whole Bean, Because You’re Fancy – I mean, who doesn’t feel like a sophisticated coffee connoisseur when they grind their own beans? The aroma that fills your kitchen when you grind these beans is almost too good—you’ll be tempted to just inhale the entire batch and skip brewing altogether. But trust me, brewing it is a much better decision. The Ultimate Morning Companion – If coffee is the first thing you drink in the morning, this one is the friendly hug you didn’t know you needed. It’s like sitting down at your kitchen table with a warm, imaginary donut and your favorite mug. It’s comforting without being overwhelming, like a good friend who knows when to offer advice and when to just let you be.The Cons:It Might Get You Addicted – I bought this thinking it would just be a nice "change of pace" coffee, but now I find myself reaching for it every morning. It’s the coffee equivalent of a guilty pleasure TV show—you say you’re only going to watch one episode, and next thing you know, you’ve finished an entire season. It’s dangerous.Don’t Expect a Donut on the Side – As much as I wish this coffee came with a free donut, AmazonFresh has not yet figured out how to invent the “donut-in-your-coffee” concept. It’s just a coffee that tastes like a donut, not an actual donut. (But hey, maybe they’ll get there next time.)Conclusion:This coffee is delightful. It’s smooth, flavorful, and surprisingly decadent for a medium roast. It’s like the best of both worlds: you get the pick-me-up of coffee and the sweet, comforting vibes of your favorite bakery treat. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to drink their donut (without the sugar crash) or just needs a little extra warmth in their life.TL;DR: If coffee had a flavor that was like a warm, cozy hug with a sprinkle of sweet happiness, this would be it. I’m hooked. Get yourself some, but be prepared to make it your new favorite.
