Magnetic Yoke Flaw Detector Magnetic Powder Particle Inspection Tester Equipment

As a mechanical engineer I deal with lots of parts and welding joints that need tested for flaws. I bought this GOYOJO Magnetic Yoke Flaw Detector not really knowing what to expect but man I gotta say, I’m impressed. It’s built solid, got a good weight to it and don’t feel like it’s gonna break on you. The magnet strength is no joke either. You’ll definitely feel it clamp down hard. Using it on-site is pretty straightforward. Instructions wasn’t great, but if you got experience with this kind of inspection you’ll figure it out fast. I use it mostly with dry powder and it works like it should. The flaws show up clear no guessing game. I also tried wet method just to see and it handled that too. Cord is long enough for what I do in the shop. Some guys might want extension depending on the setup. Only thing I’d change is maybe a case or a storage box, since I’m always worried it’ll get banged around in the truck. But for the price? You can’t beat it.Overall, I’d recommend it to any tech or engineer needing to do magnetic particle inspection regular. It saves me time and helps me trust the parts I’m signing off on.
