Simple but effective
Yes it feels a bit cheap but it works perfectly. It's effectively a long telescopic broom stick with a plate at one hand to sit on the ceiling. The clamp works well, unlike the Bosch MM3 which costs the same as (or more than) the whole kit. Nothing complicated here, and it works as intended. Recommended!

Decent kit
Not the best of builds, but works fine and easy to use. Not sure how long it will last but at the price, didn't expect much more than it is.

Sturdy pole
Nice strong pole, the fixing collier feel is a bit on the cheap side but seem to work ok. Arrived on time and good value for money

Good but cheap
As headline says - good but cheap. Stitches on supplied bag torn on 1st use - so pouch is useless. Poles are not perfect but I can live with that. Disassembling this whole up/down left/right mechanism is difficult. Without disassembling it will not fit to supplied bag :( so I transport it separately. Plastic feels very cheap with flakes/bits leftovers from molding process. I had to trim it a bit. Other than that - I'm using it daily for last 15 days and so far it's OK. Considering price of this item I'll give it 5 starts. I had a BOSH staff once that was perfect but it costed £180 and it was stolen so this one will do just fine.

No instructions
It was awkward to fit the spring as there were no instructions. Also, there were several chips & flaky bits on the paint work.

Broke after a handful of uses
Got a couple months use out of it before the sprint retainer popped out and now it has no spring pressure to hold itself up.Not fit for purpose, avoid.

No issues with it after 6-7 uses, can't complain.

So much better than a tripod
This works so well. Held in place by a spring loaded pad which you push against the ceiling. It comes with a bracket that clamps to the pole at any height you need, then it has a fine adjustment knob for height and horizontal direction. There is a spirit bubble to the adjusting platform to set it level do the height stays consistent if you use the adjuster.It’s all made at a cost of course of plastic, but at the price it is very effective.For me this has unlocked the usefulness of a laser level compared to the tripod that came with the level.
