Works well
Lays flat easily. There was one bend in it from shipping and I laid it out in the sun and the rubber flattened nicely. Easy to see gold and easy for cleanup to go to panning. Cuts to shape easily.

Catches the Gold, but Durability a Concern
This mat does a great job of catching the heavies, down to even the very fine material, and makes clean-up so much easier than using the material that originally came with my sluice box. However, the material is not very durable, and it's easy to damage it when tightening down the washers used to hold it in place in the box. Other than that, I'm very pleased with it. It clears a large portion of the black sand while catching gold, and washes into a bucket easily. I'm looking forward to catching more gold with this, next season!

Catch all the gold!
As long as your water is not raging through your sluice your going to trap every piece of gold. I used this to replace some miners moss. And it is so much easier to clean up.
