Really easy to connect as only needs Bluetooth and the functionality is endless! Only thing to point out is to be careful not to leave it on for long periods with the engine off as it will slowly drain your battery

The media could not be loaded. I have an XTRONS head unit.Thought I would try an XTRONS OBD adapter.All the 1* reviews are for the type 2 or 3.I liked the idea of an On/Off switch so decided on type 1.Arrived quickly as always, and it is a very compact little unit that fits without sticking out too much, so I can close the fusebox cover without any issues.Went into Bluetooth settings and it connected first time.In the Torque app you have to select OBD2 adapter not your phone !Works as well as any other I have used - never had a £100 plus device so don't know if they work better, but I see that many have bad reviews despite their high prices.Fair price and I like being able to leave it in and switch it off when not in use.

Its a tight fit. Perhaps because its new, but when it goes on it fits nice and snug. The only reason It's getting a 4 star is that when I first tried to connect it top the Xtrons HU it didn't show up. Could have just been some initialization issues. But it took me a while before I got annoyed and kept pressing find device over and over which then picked it up. Since then it has worked perfectly. I sometimes get a break pedal error stored on my cars computer. This thing allows me to clear the error which seems to have an effect on the cars performance. It's an inexpensive bit of kit saving me £45 every time I want to get the error removed by the garage. Worth it.. (He smiles and nods... ). Its easy to fit, and can save money. Worth every penny. Btw. This really is a 5 star item. Not sure if it was the HU or the adapter that was being difficult at 1st.

Don't buy it. Just a waste of money. It is no working and not connected to the Xtrons headunit.

Its as found my ecu twice since ive had it, its great when ot works but fails to connect 90% of the time

Fitted to Audi TT mk2 with android 13. Took me about 10mins to connect it but went OK if you follow all the instructions. Works great, was worried I could not get it to connect after reading reviews

Way less cumbersome than the older type of OBD reader, this one was far easier to pair as well (but I do have an xtrons head unit as well). Super low profile so it can sit in my dash all the time so the on/off switch is really handy.Not sure if it has an auto off function, if not, it would be ideal if it had a buzzer to tell you you had left it on with the ignition off or similar. Otherwise perfect.

Arrived promptly and a good item to have.
