Outta the box and into the truck! Fit and finish is A+Install was very easy. Video clarity is good. Only complaint is retrieving the videos. I haven’t figured it out and there’s no instruction. That said, definitely would recommend first day expression

Great camera looks like a factory stock piece. Video looks great i did have to buy an app for my computer in order to watch the videos but it was only 99 cents so not bad. I have s23 ultra phone and using the app is difficult. While signed on through wifi my phone keeps kicking me off the fitcam and wifi notifications keep popping up so the app is almost unusable for me. Install was easy and quick. Overall best dash cam on the market.

I came across this camera on a forum and was immediately intrigued by the seamless, almost factory, look. I had been using another camera since purchasing my RAM, but had issues with it constantly falling off the window in the Arizona heat. After some research, I decided to pull the trigger and ordered the 4K front only camera.The fit and finish of the FitcamX is as good or better than OEM and install was simple with my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I even attempted to use a 256GB memory card and it seems to work perfectly (even though they say it can handle a max of 128GB). The footage is nice and clear and licenses plates are easily read when playing back the footage.The only thing I would like to see changed is the placement of the status LED's. As of now the LED's are on the bottom of the cam and are very difficult to see. If they were to be moved the the side or front of the housing, they could easily be seen without having to bend down to look up at the LED's.Shortly after install I had to have my windshield replaced and quickly ran into problems, though not related to the camera it turns out. After the new windshiled was installed, I noticed that I was no longer able to power on the camera. I had the replacement company look at it and was told there were a couple of bolts missing for the sensors on the windshield and that was causing the issues. After I questioned them on how the bolts were causing electrical issues, they sent the calibration guy out to look @ the truck. After about an hour he said that everything was working and he was able to calibrate my systems.I drove the truck home and thought nothing of it as everything seemed to be working. Unfortunately that was not the case. The FitcamX was still not getting power, so I began to investigate and immediately found the problem. When the windshield was replaced, they has ripped some wires out of the harness that comes with the cam. Instead of telling me about it, they simply loosley inserted the wires back in place and wrapped a piece of packing tape around the connector.I immediately contacted Fitcam and asked if I could purchase a new harness to get things working again. After giving a little information about my purchase, they told me they would send out a new harness immediately. WOW! This was not a manufacturing issue and was caused by someone else, yet they stepped up to the plate and provided the part @ no cost. That is what I call STELLAR customer service.Overall, I am very happy with the FitcamX and have only 1 regret, that I didn't get a dual cam system.

easy install, works perfectly

Product is as described. Simple install. App is functional. Installed in 2021 Ram 1500 crew cab. Came with everything needed and a little pry tool to assist in trim removal. This automatically turns on a records when you drive. Turns off when the vehicle is off. Just connect via app when you want to transfer data / save a drive. Looks stock. Nobody even knows it’s there except me !

Easy install and great OEM look. Unfortunately, it kept cutting out the digital rear view mirror. Simple plug and play, so it is not user error. Something wrong with the unit itself because mirror went back to normal when uninstalled.

**update**I received a follow up from customer on the APP. The FITCAMX app is not available in the US, but they did send me another app to use. Viidure is the App I am using for this cam. The app is working fine picture is clear. Cam does turn on when car is started with no issues. The look of the cam is excellent and mimics the design of the original rear view mirror. The install was quick and painless. I did notice that on the drivers side it did not come flush with the windshield, but really is not noticeable. I upgraded to Five stars because it is a nice look clear picture and quick response from FITCAMX.App is not supported in the United States. I will wait a few days to see if I get a response and will update my review. If there is not a supported app I will return as you cannot set settings for dash cam without it.This should be stated somewhere on the Amazon product sales page.

Been hesitant to buy a dashcam for my ram 1500 limited til I ran across this! Didn’t want cables and suction cups. The install was pretty easy, don’t be afraid to pull hard on the cover when removing the old one! No rattles and seamless integration! Camera quality and features are great the 4K footage is nice and sharp!! Would highly recommend!
