Super Soft Rubber Tree/Plant Tie Our Rubber Ties are a simple and easy way to secure trees and plants to canes and stakes. These ties have been treated with U.V stabilisers to make them weather resistant. As a result, they won’t stiffen or split with age. The soft, rubber allows much more freedom than plastic ties & will stretch as your trees and plants grow. Your plants won’t be restricted and young trees can develop their own resistance to wind loads. The tie itself acts as a cushion between the tree and support stake. Because of the elasticity in the material, the tree will not become disfigured as the tie will stretch when your tree grows. Unlike cheaper plastic ties our tree ties will not cause wounds or scratches in young trees thus eliminating the possibility of disease entering the scars. The ties are also extremely easy to adjust, should you need to loosen or tighten them as your tree grows. These ties form a figure of 8 when they are tied with one loop around the tree and the other around the cane/support.
