Amazing design - perfect mouse
The best mouse I have ever bought...Highly recommended. Programmable buttons and the design is perfect for long use and gaming as well.

It’s almost perfect.
I love this mouse. The software is a bit buggy sometimes but it’s never really caused an issue and it resolves itself very quickly. The battery life is great and charges quickly too. The buttons are intuitive to use and it feels lovely in the hand, it’s quite light weight too. Can’t stress how much I love this mouse.

Lightweight Gaming Mouse - maybe not for all?
Owing to the mouse's "holey" design, you may find that this mouse is not for everyone. It's extremely light and skates across a mousepad extremely well, which is great for reaction and movement speed, but may not be as useful for games where precision is more neccessary. The build quality is good despite it being a very light plastic, it doesn't feel like it will break at all.Personally, I prefer a heavy mouse, but another member of the family really enjoys the feel and how it performs.

Love the mouse.
The SteelSeries Aerox 5 has significantly enhanced my gaming experience. Its ultra-lightweight design, achieved through a honeycomb shell, makes it comfortable for extended gaming sessions. The nine programmable buttons, including a sniper button and a rocker, offer extensive customization, allowing me to tailor the mouse to various gaming genres.Equipped with the TrueMove Air sensor, the Aerox 5 provides precise tracking with a CPI range from 100 to 18,000. The TTC Golden Micro switches for the main buttons feel snappy and are rated for 80 million clicks, ensuring durability. The pure PTFE feet allow for smooth gliding across my mousepad, enhancing in-game precision. However, the honeycomb design, while functional for weight reduction, might not appeal to everyone aesthetically. Additionally, the mouse lacks wireless connectivity options, which could be a drawback for those seeking a cable-free setup.Overall, the SteelSeries Aerox 5 has significantly improved my gaming experience with its lightweight build and customizable features. I highly recommend it to gamers looking for a versatile and responsive mouse.

Lightweight and Comfortable, but Lacks Essential Grip Support
I like the Aerox 5 wireless mouse, especially for its lightweight design and suitability for palm grip users. The RGB lighting is a nice touch for those who care about it, though it doesn't really matter to me since I'm not much of a gamer. While the mouse itself is easy to grip and comfortable to hold, it lacks plastic grips or grip stickers, which is a major downside. To save on weight, these were left out, but this causes the mouse to slip on the sides during use. For me, grip paper is essential.Unfortunately, the mouse does not come with grip stickers, and while they sell grip paper on their website, it’s only compatible with the Aerox 3. Customer support even recommended buying the Aerox 3 grip paper and cutting it to fit, which is disappointing given the price of this mouse. The correct grip stickers should have been included in the box or at least made available at a more reasonable price — not £12!Update after a 10 days:After extended use, this mouse fails to meet basic user needs. The lack of grip is a major issue — it slips out of your hand far too easily. No grip tape is supplied, and there isn't even an option available for this model, which significantly reduces its usability. This is a critical flaw because it completely negates the benefit of the lightweight design. When the mouse slips, you end up gripping it tighter, which puts unnecessary strain on your hand and defeats the entire purpose of having a light mouse meant to enhance comfort during long sessions.Additionally, after comparing other mice on Amazon, I found several similar-looking options, which I suspect are made with almost identical parts, offering the same functionality at a fraction of the price. Many of these cheaper options even come with a charger included, which also addresses another problem — the Aerox 5’s disappointing battery life.To make matters worse, the bottom pad near the sensor was misaligned right out of the box, and I had to fix it myself, pointing to quality control issues. At this point, I can no longer recommend the Aerox 5. The absence of grip pads, poor battery life, and apparent quality assurance problems make it feel overpriced and exploitative. This mouse would be reasonable at £25-£30, but certainly not worth £100.Avoid.
