I got this because my hair is mature and gray. I don't have much yellowing but wanted to give it a little more shine. I have used purple shampoos before and wow thought never again, however, this product, smells great and I used just a little and tip, left it on in the shower for a very very short period of time. I think that might be the trick, I was leaving on way too long and that purple was left in my hair a long time ago.Now this one, I will use maybe once a week, leave on for short period of time, and I am good to go. Like it, leaves my hair moist and the color is much lighter , the shine is wonderful, it is soft and feels a bit thicker, I have very fine hair and am growing it out from a short cut. It will remove the brassiness from your hair, and bring the blonde, gray or white in your hair. It has a clean scent. I do recommend using conditioner afterwards so your hair comes out soft.I do recommend and I will keep purchasing this.

This bottle of shampoo arrived with a loose fitting cap so there was purple shampoo on the outside of the bottle.Quality:This is an excellent product for gray hair.

The product itself works really well. I really really love this purple shampoo so don’t let this be too much of a deterrent to purchasing it. However it did leak in delivery so be weary of that. I haven’t had this issue before with the matrix bottles but I’m not sure if they’ve changed it or if this was just a bad bottle.

Love this shampoo. My mother in law recommended it as it doesn't dry your scalp. The last shampoo I was using caused terrible dryness. This works really well, takes away the brassiness and doesn't dry your scalp or your hair. I will continue using this product (to include the conditioner) for as long as I have highlights.

Great shampoos! It really makes the color last

I have been using purple shampoo and conditioner for nearly 10 years. It brightens my silver hair and keeps it from yellowing. This is the first brand that has turned my silver hair to lavender. I don't like that. I am going back to another brand.

The top on tube was open Had leaked. Not sure howmuch was lost due to the color of the tube Shampoo was in box and some on two of the other products
