Replacement Remote Control Only for All Roku TV, Compatible for TCL Roku/Hisense Roku/Onn Roku Series Smart TVs (Not for Roku Stick and Box)

While this remote is 35% cheaper than a genuine Nvidia replacement, It has been working great for me so far. It has two main caveats that set it apart from the $30 genuine Nvidia "Tobloremote", as I call them (think the triangle chocolate bar haha):1. I've noticed that this remote's Bluetooth range is approximately 20% shorter than the original remote. This could be a problem for some people whose shield TV devices are behind a TV or inside a cabinet far away from where you're sitting.2. This remote does NOT have backlit buttons. This is, in part, cosmetic but might be a deal breaker for some people. It has a single LED that lights up at the top of the remote only when a button is pressed. There is no accelerometer to detect when the remote has been moved or picked up, and the buttons themselves do not light at all.Beyond those two caveats, this remote pairs and identifies with the Shield TV as a genuine Nvidia Shield Remote. You can even control the brightness and duration of the indicator LED at the top of the remote. They've basically utilized genuine Nvidia firmware and controllers. They've simply left a few features off to save on the cost of the remote, like IR and backlighting. Even voice control and audible remote finder works flawlessly. Plus, the physical design of these remotes means that they sit on a table properly and you can actually press buttons without having to pick up the remote! So, if you can live with the caveats above, this is a great alternative replacement to the higher priced original remote...or even as a second cheaper remote for the kids to beat up or another seating position in the room.

This remote is EASY to use and easy to setup didn’t have to program it or nothing. It worked straight out of the box. The value for the remote is spot on. Great signal. Works on all my Hisense tv with no issues. Fast and reliable. Seems to be compatible for all the tv I’ve tried it on. Would definitely purchase this again

Worked perfectly right out of the box. Just put some batteries in and could use right away. Didn’t have to fool with connecting it to the tv or anything it’s just automatic and straightforward.

I have a really old NVIDIA Shield with an equally old remote that was giving me lots of problems, it would work sometimes and other times not at all. I got one of these and the setup is as easy as it claims and it works great after that. I do have to adjust my mind to the new button layout but that wont take long. I actually prefer the volume control on this remote, this one seems to be quicker to respond and it works consistently. I have not tried voice control but I have accidently hit that button and it activates it. I am happy with the price and the durability of it and I think it is going to last a long time.

Had to buy a replacement for my 2022 LG-OLED T.V. because on my original one the center wheel button broke and fell into the remote and without being able to "click" that center wheel you can't "enter" into anything!Got the new remote and the process of un-pairing the old remote and syncing the new one is SIMPLE! I am a tech dinosaur and this was as easy as pressing to buttons to remove the old remote and 1 button to pair the new one!The ONLY reason I didn't give this remote a 5-Star rating was the fact that the wheel is ULTRA sensitive and I find myself accidentally rolling the wheel when I am just trying to press down to "click". Other than that it works PERFECTLY and just the same as the old one. I don't see any differences with tracking or speed or anything else that would cause you grief as you move away from your old remote.I hope you enjoy your new remote if you decide to purchase this! Super reasonably priced. Arrived super fast. Works perfectly. No programming required. Literally turned the TV on from the moment you put batteries in it.

I like this remote better. Just go into the Nvidia settings to get it to pair. Works great and easier battery access.

Instructions provided for pairing did not work. The methos that worked for me was:1. Downloading the Nvidia Shield TV app2. Using the remote from the app, open up the settings of your Shield3. Click on remotes and accesories. Then add Bluetooth device.4. Press the pairing buttons on the control remote so it blinks. Then it will be paired.Its lightweight. Hope it lasts!
