Q: Can I connect two cameras to this with one Ethernet cable without compromise quality video?

Yes , we use them all the time .

Q: I’m using this with a POE++ 48v 60W injector, what will be the output voltage on both terminals? It only specifies max output watts as 30w

48v is the output. The camera or other device only takes as much power as it wants usually 12vdc. Not much use if output is only 12v if running 100mtrs

Q: Has anyone bought these and have them just not work? I bought several and 8 of them just do nothing when plugged in properly.

I purchased one and it worked just fine.

Q: Is it important to use this together with a poE injector?

A POE injector or switch should work just fine. The important thing is usually that these don't support passive POE, so be sure it's not a passive injector or passive only poe device.
