A decent filter that does what it is supposed to do. Need to replace cartridge a little bit more often than suggested, but these stop debris from getting into the drinking water, so these are well worth the extra changes. Drinking water remains crystal clear. Love it.

High quality water filter!. I have been using this brand of filter for years and they work very well and hold up great. The design allows particles to be trapped while still allowing good water flow through them. I changed over from the 25 micron to this 5 micron to get better filtration. It states the water flow is the same, 20 gpm. Once I replace my old 25 micron filter, I'll see if the flow rate remains the same or not with the micron filtration difference. It will be an interesting comparison and I'll see if I can update this review after a few months of use.

I used this filter for 7 months in my AP801 housing. A small piece of the filter started flaking off as I was pulling it out of the housing to replace it. It goes to show that you are taking your chances if you leave this filter in the housing for longer than recommended. The filter was discolored from the sediment that it had filtered since it was installed. It's a good filter, but I didn't reorder it as it is pricey. KleenWater makes a comparable filter for about half the price. Also, this item doesn't even include an o-ring like some of the other filter replacement options from other brands.

We've using this specific water filter for years and cant complain about how well these water filters are made. It is suggested to change these filters out every 6 months but if you miss a month, these filters still do a terrific job. Its amazing when cleaning the filter to see how dirty city water can really be. By using these filters, I know that I'm getting a quality filter that will last month and is reasonably priced. The filter is extremely easy to change out and requites no more than a couple of minutes to replace and install the new filter. There is currently nothing that I would change about the quality of these filters and I highly recommend these filters to anyone looking for a replacement filter that meets the specifications listed.

We installed our whole house water softener and filter system a little over 2 years ago now, and we've been using this brand ever since. It was recommended to us by the plumber, and we have not had any problems. No broken filters, no premature failures, and we only replace them once every 6 months (2 people in house).

Received my replacement cartridge within 24hrs when several neighborhood suppliers stated they were unable to receive them due to shipping issues.

great fit for OEM replacement filter, easy to install and comes with internal rubber gasket. However, the o-ring for the filter housing is not included and needs to be purchased separately. I wish they would include that o-ring as well because it must be replaced every 6 months to ensure no leaks from the filter unit housing. But besides that, great product, will buy again.
