Power System Analysis and Design

This book provides an excellent foundation for power system analysis. I found myself referencing it from time to time throughout the entire curriculum, well beyond just the first course for which this textbook was meant for. Keep it handy. Then, after you graduate, keep it as a reminder of the hell that you put yourself through! Definitely recommended to do this early in your career and not wait. I wish I had this knowledge 10 years ago, even if some of it was outdated back then. The fundamental principles stayed relatively the same for decades and would have applied.

From someone who is not getting a degree in electrical engineering power system design, this book is not only poorly written but examples are not easy to follow. You are better off getting CHEGG's solution manual and/or a pirated PDF version. I am reading this book as part of a course between a university and a private electrical business to get a certificate for job promotion. However, what the practical use of this book is for my JOB is non existent or non taught in this books.
