I was having pain in my thumb joints in both hands. No idea what was causing it but being 76 years old I guess your body doesn't need a reason. When this started I would try deep tissue massage on my thumb joints. This helped but was a pain in the butt. On a whim I decided to try the Tenker EMS Tens Unit. It took a bit to navigate the controls because it has multiple channels and button controls to adjust the intervals and intensity of the electrical stimulation. There are multiple selections to adjust the way the pulse comes on some starting gradual and increasing intensity, other settings using strong pulses. The options are impressive. Without total mastery of the controls, I managed to get a good test on my first usage adjusting the signal strength to a level that was not too uncomfortable. I was amazed at the results. I noted at least a 80 percent reduction in pain in my thumb joint on the first usage. The relief seems to last for weeks but whenever the ache starts kicking up the Tenker Unit really does help give extended relief. I have never approached the maximum power setting but I am only using this across my thumb joint. larger body parts may require more power. I am very satisfied with this item and would recommend it to a friend that was experiencing any kind of joint or muscle pain.

I bought this as a Christmas Gift for my husband, but I ended up using it.I saw a you tube video on foot pain, to attach the electrode pads to the foot pain area and do what you can tolerate. I did this and it worked!!I used it 20 min and It was 90% better!So I have used it a few more times and the pain is 99% gone!Sometimes I forget it even used to hurt.I have complete feeling in my foot, nothing changed but the pain is gone!I am so thankful!!! I can be me again, working, walking, cleaning, anything.Explain the pain I had before I used it -Boy did I have foot pain, for like 6 months! I was using a cane and I'm only 54yrs old !It felt like I had blisters under my foot. (Just one foot), no reason for it either, It just happened.I tried changing shoes, foot stretch exercises, foot rubs, pain killers (didn't help), Epsom salt foot baths and just staying off it. It looked perfectly normal and wasn't swollen at all - so it was weird. But I got to the point where I never left my house because it hurt so bad. Even had my groceries delivered because I couldn't walk. I wanted to cut my foot off and put a wheel there! It was awful!I am just so thankful for the TENKER EMS TENS Unit Muscle Stimulator!

The media could not be loaded. For the price this would have gotten 5 stars BUT I knocked it to 3 stars solely because the sticky pads lost their stickyness after 8ish uses. It does come with one set of replacement pads but I'll definitely need to order more to continue using it in the long run which seems a bit wasteful.What I do like about it is it's very small & powerful, has a ton of modes, can be used with 4 pads (2 ports), and if very effective (when the pads are sticking to your skin in the first few uses). I am still able to use it even though they don't stick, just have to position myself against a pillow or somewhere so they can't slide. Great for upper back/neck tension!

The Tenker Unit was suggested by a PT who is working with my wife at this time. She had never tried this before and likes it a lot.Ordering and shipping were very easy and delivery was very quick.There is a learning curve to be had on the unit as to placement and number of the pads used, setting of the strength/intensity delivered to the pads, and the timing to run the unit. I image each patient will vary as to response.Side effects noted so far have been manageable, mainly skin irritation that requires adjusting the time and strength of the settings being used.Stickiness of the pads is difficult when the pads are placed over areas that have curves (upper neck area in our case). On flat surfaces they are OK.A training booklet is provided however hands on learning is still best.Overall it has been helpful and with current pricing/delivery on the unit it was very worth our while to obtain the unit.MB
