Looks stock in the car and works well.
Easy to install and looks stock in the car, fits perfectly under the mirror. It is a little wonky to use the app to see videos but hopefully you will only have to do this rarely or never.

Nice clean OEM look dashcam
This dashcam exceeded my expectations. It is stealth (you don't know it is there), clean looking, no wires shown, OEM like, and has a cellphone app to download video/picture. The installation is not easy, but not too difficult if you know what you doing, since you don't want to damage any pieces removed, so do take your time for it. The instruction video included is adequate, but needs a few more details, especially where to use the pry tool to remove these overhead plastic covers. 1. To remove front large cover next to reading light is easy, just pry and push forward (towards windshield). 2. To remove the smaller cover for rain censor is also relatively easy, just pry the mid section (with securing tab), it will pop loose. 3. To remove the mirror from its base is hard, you need to use some force, CCW twist the mirror very hard to dislodge it. 4. To remove the mirror back cover is easy, once the mirror is dislodged from its base, just slightly expand two side's plastic cover it will pop out. 5. Locate the 3 pin wire connector (power supply) and pull it out from the base connector. 6. Connect dashcam's female connector with this 3pin connector (power supply), and then connect the 3pin connector (male) from the dashcam to the base connector (supply power to rain censor). 7. Replace the OEM mirror back cover with the dashcam (integrated with the mirror back cover) and attach/click the dashcam to the mirror. 8. Re-attach the mirror with the dashcam back cover to the rain censor base, CW twist it on, just hand tight is enough. 9. Test the dashcam to ensure you have power before re-attach the small cover and the large cover with reversed removal steps above, and you are DONE. This is a great product design idea. It integrates dashcam with the rain sensor/rear view mirror back cover, so that no wires dangling around, very OEM look. It has good video quality, easy to download video clips, either with an app via Wifi connection, or just pop out micro SD card and insert it into provided USB C card reader, very convenient. It does take some time to install, but it is well worth, as you get a clean OEM look dashcam and stealth. A well earned 5-star product.

Actually DOES fit Porsche 992.2
Would have loved to leave a good review. Read great reviews in the product. Unfortunately this does NOT fit a 992.2The casing of the camera does not align with the casing from the 992.2 (see pics)Maybe previous generations but not the .2UPDATEAfter originally receiving the incorrect casing to fit a 992.2, Fitcam send me a complete replacement with the correct camera for the 992.2. Install was not to difficult. Threading the cable through the headliner in a porsche 992.2 is actually not that difficult either. Overall the camera looks good, and works good. The only reason I cannot give it a full 5 starts is because the software is a bit clumsy in how it works. But once the camera settings are configured, you don’t really need to deal with the software until you want to review or download footage.

Great support, but the first one did not work
Edit: Avoid this camera at all cost. It stopped working on both my Mercedes and my Porsche. Lasts for a month and dies after. Don’t get it.I own a 2020 Porsche Cayenne, and I was trying to do everything possible to not have to run wires in a German engineered car. For those that know these types of cars, they are weird to say the least. Having the ability to tap into an existing line, is genius. In this case, the rain sensor. The instructional videos online arent the best, so I turned to my local stereo shop to do the install. It was straight forward, and only took them 15 minutes to do. However, as soon as I got home, I noticed the camera stopped working. I tried to fix it myself, but failed. I wrote an email to FitCamX and the promptly shipped a new camera out. I appreciate that kind of service. The new camera was installed, but of course, I had to pay for installation again, which didnt make me happy. I've had the new camera in for a little over a week with no issues. It works, and the video quality is great. The best part, you cant even tell theres a camera in the front window. So for those that may get a red light flashing on the camera, simply reach out to FitCamX and have them replace the camera for you.
