It’s Melamine not Bamboo
Doesn’t look like the picture at all. It’s not mate black but shiny. Then it’s not flat plain black plate, there are inner circle patterns. And most importantly it’s not bamboo but melamine. Stay away, this is a scam

Just know these kind of fiber plates do have plastic in them.
After doing some research into these fiber-based dishes, unless they're disposable, they will be made with some plastic mixed with it. This is what makes them durable and long lasting. If you're looking for something to avoid plasticware, these aren't it. However, they are lightweight (great for carpal tunnel pain to have such light dishes!) and the black color is striking and chic. We've had them for a while now, and I think they're nice plates. But do you want to pay this for plastic plates? You have to ask yourself that.

Everything is great about them.
These plates are very light in weight, they go in the dishwasher and the micro, where they fit well. The food presentation on them looks amazing.

Nice plates, nice price, but man do these get hot in the microwave
I've got two sets of these. They look nice at the table, they clean up easy in the dishwasher, but the microwave heats them up hotter than the sun. I don't think these could be my only plates. But as long as I keep them out of the microwave they're great.
