I got this as a present for my game loving teen who needed more room on their laptop. They were able to move many of their larger games over to it. It’s even fast enough for them to play games off the device without having to move them back onto the PC.We were both shocked we were able to get such storage size at such a great price. It easily hooked up to their Acer laptop. They also love that they can take it with them to a friend’s house if they wanted to play games there.They’re happy, so I’m happy.

Works amazing for my sons Xbox series X. Haven't had a single issue with performance and compatibility. Zero complaints it's perfect for what we needed it for (more Xbox Series X memory. Games can even be downloaded right to it, great product I'll be buying more soon

Like many people, my desktop computer tends to be filled with many files (pictures, videos, etc.).Having a portable external hard drive like this serves two purposes for me: it frees up space on my computer's internal hard drive since I can transfer files to the external drive, and it acts as a backup, too, since I tend to have several additional external drives.Whatever system you run (PC or Mac), this drive is ready to be used as soon as it's plugged into your computer. However, in my case, I opted to reformat it so that it could be read on both Mac and PC computers. After reformatting, I plugged it into both devices, and I was able to transfer files to and from the drive to my computers.As far as transfer speed, I moved a 47GB folder to the drive, and it took around 15 minutes. I just wanted to note this to illustrate to those curious about the length of time it takes to move files.This external drive from Toshiba was affordable, offered sufficient space for my needs, and was simple to set up. It's definitely a solid choice if you need a backup device or a place to house files that are cluttering up your computer's internal hard drive.

Connectivity is great value of drive good. No problem with heat . Works great when I have to switch around. Speed is good very portable. Love for my photography stiff.

I like that it has so much space for the PS 4 games, but i didn't realize that it didn't work for PS 5 games. Make sure to read if it saves PS 5 games. Very quite, goes into the PS 5, but only in the back USB ports. It was Plug and play. I just had to let the PS 5 format the disk, and it was ready to save my PS 4 games. Also, if you get a PS5 Hard drive, it can save to the drive, but can't run games from the drive. PS4 games can run from the external drive.

You definitely need one if your computer's hard drive doesn't have enough space or if you have to back up your data like I do once a month. Although this is a HDD (old fashioned magnetic disc), it reads and writes fast. Very reliable and works great. I use this to back up all my data files on my home computes. It uses USB 3.0 which provides fast data transfer rates. I have used other Toshiba hard drives and have never had a problem.

Great value and size. I love how reliable this is. I keep it in my laptop bag so I have it wherever I am.
