This was a disappointment to say the least. A prong broke off while doing the second potholder.This a plastic, not a metal loom. Furthermore, it did not come with the standard long flat weaving tool with the hook on the end that has been part of any potholder loom set up since the craft started!The loop material is so tight that the one finished item we were able to get before it broke was little over a 4 inch square despite the loom being 7 inches. That may be true of many of the other 7 inch looms sold today with the loops that come with them.

This kit provides a short plastic crochet hook for the weaving. It doesn’t work well for a child or an adult. It is too short and too thick. When I was a child, we had a long metal hook that was easily woven through.
