James Bond: The Sean Connery Collection, Volume 2 (DVD)

If you love Bond, and you love the man who made the mold for the character (and arguably broke it), then this is a must-own. I'm not going to argue the merits of the films, because I'm such a fan, I can't be objective, and don't want to be. I love these period espionage travelogues, and I love Connery as Bond. Also, it's a decent value purchase and this series is a quick and inexpensive way to build your 007 collection over time, or to focus in on your favorite 007 actors.

A must have.

I was expecting the complete Sean Connery James Bond collection between Volume 1 and 2, but "Never Say Never Again," his final Bond film with Kim Basinger, is not included. The DVDs work perfectly, but it's important to note that while there was a 12-year gap between "Diamonds Are Forever" and "Never Say Never Again," this set doesn't include the latter. So, if you're looking for the full Sean Connery Bond experience, you'll need to purchase "Never Say Never Again" separately.

It really was an excellent collection

Connery’s James Bond films still hold my attention after all these years. I can see low budget makes in the early ones, and how quickly Goldfinger became the standard. This adds to my interest and the films charm. I recall reading the books at age 19, and the thrill of each release. I have seen very few of the future Bond stars, so I can’t compare. It is all fun! Definitely, a blast from the past.

There has maybe never been a cooler and more attractive James Bond. The anachronistic value of the film is enjoyable too, going back to an era.

This set has all of the classic Sean Connery James Bond films in it including Goldfinger,From Russia With Love,and Thunderball! A must for James Bond fans!
