Fujifilm EF-X8 Shoe Mount Flash

Small, easy to find bag room for it. Folds down when not in use for those days when you only occasionally need it. Very light. No batteries required! Communicates with the camera and does a good job optimizing shots. Seems strong enough for smaller indoor use. Doesn't break the bank either.

One came with my Fuji X-H1 body, and when I bought a second body (used), I bought this to use on it. Great fill-flash, on-axis it's a tiny gem!

Convenient for everyday use with simple photos of family and children. No need to worry about charging or batteries. Easy to put on and take off, does not take up much space in the bag

I love the Fujifilm EF-X8 flash. The size means you can take it anywhere. It’s small; about the same size as the Fujifilm battery.No batteries required means it’s always ready to go as long as the camera has battery. Good for your pockets and for the environment. Just flip it up and it’s ready to go..But I think what I appreciate most is that I can control the flash intensity thru my camera’s menus (X-Pro3 and X-T3). I can go full manual (1/1 - 1/64) or TTL w/compensation.Combine this with front and rear curtain sync and the relatively cheap price for a photography accessory, and what you have is a big surprise in a small package.I tried uploading 2 pictures. One without the flash and one with the flash activated. I try to balance the flash with ambient light so that it’s effect isn’t overpowering.
