The media could not be loaded. I had no doubts while ordering this Prestige pressure cooker and it lived up to its reputation. Did not stick, cleaned easily, big enough to cook for 4 people at least, maybe even 5. Reduced my cooking time significantly. A great addition to my kitchen.

Lid is a bit of a pain to shut if cooker is already hot or warm

I have to agree with other reviewers, the metal quality is thin and cheap. Worse, the top handle is already loose even right now just out of the box. I am not confident that the handle will stand up to much use. The seal is not very tight and the lid does not have the same ease of use as my other older model prestige cooker, its much more difficult to attach and detach. I'm honestly wondering if the Prestige company really has let go of keeping high standards for the cookware they produce, or if this is just some knock off pretending to be the real deal. Debating whether or not to return the product as the quality is not there.

I love it

I purchased three of these prestige pressure cookers a little over a year ago. Small, medium and large. I have cooked about anything you could imagine in them. By the way if you haven't made rice or potatoes (for mashing) in one, you're really missing out on some amazing flavors in seemingly bland foods. Anyway, with all the use and washing (by hand) these cookers still look, shine and work like new. One of my best purchases of all time.
