I've used Williams 'Lectric Shave for a very long time. I've always worn a full beard that drops to my jaw line, leaving my neck bare. The Williams product I'd splash on, and absolutely skims over skin providing a closet trim/shave.Afta send to be really good stuff. The scent is lighter than Williams (and I like it better). But the Afta cream has to be rubbed on, and with a full beard it's tough rubbing something on your neck avoiding the beard.My best sense is that a beardless face, where Afta can be rubbed in palms and then applied your full face, might be a better "shaving" product, nicer scent than Williams 'Lectric, and leaves your skin a bit softer. It's far easier to splash Williams over just my neck and trim there.

This product is hard to find in regular stores. It’s my go-to for my face and head. Doesn’t clog my razor like the oil based pre-shave products do. I keep it on the counter, upside down, resting on the flat cap, so it’s easy to dispense. A little bit goes a long way. And it smells good! Getting 2 bottles at a time means I re-order when I open the 2nd bottle.

Purchased this item to try out a new product for my Arc 5 shaver. I previously used Williams Lectric Shave. Noticed a couple of differences: the smell on the Mennen Afta lotion seems to linger longer and shave closeness after using the product may be less. So I have concluded I will stay with Lectric Shave for my morning shaves.

Good preshave. Makes shaving with an electric razor easier. The 3 oz size is perfect for the TSA limit but I wish there were a larger size for regular home use.
