Convenient Pre-Wired Socket for Easy Installation
I bought this socket for my arcade cabinet. Unlike other products where I have to connect wires between the switch and power myself, this one already has the wiring set up inside the plastic component, which is very convenient. I only need to connect the wires for the power, making installation much easier. However, the included wires couldn’t be directly connected to my outlet, so I used pre-made ones instead. The labels "L" and "N" indicate which side is Load and Neutral, while Earth is represented by a symbol.

IGNORE WIRE COLORS, look at labels!
I read the negative reviews prior to taking delivery and sure 'nuff the wires as installed were dubious as far as being secure. My really loose one was ground. Per my photo (ground at bottom) they are marked(N)neutral - shipped with red lugged wire (wrong)(L)ine - shipped with blue lugged wire (wrong)(Circled) Ground Symbol - shipped with yellow lugged wire.I ohmed out each wire to confirm the labeling was correct :-) .The female slip-on connectors are smaller than what I'm accustomed to and they don't appear to make much of a solid connection even if they don't wiggle. There is a hole in each male protruding tab, so you could just lop off the connector, strip and solder to the male tab (Red for Line, Blue for Neutral, Yellow for Ground) and finish with shrink tubing. I went ahead and lightly squeezed the inner female connector (when disconnected from the male tab) with some channel-lock pliers, re-installed them, and now they are on really tight - will try that out. I'm downscaling the current rating for the fuse to an 8 amp slow blow to handle the inrush current over the rated 7 amp steady state current of my power supply. Thanks to all for the heads up on this. The duty cycle of this switch will be low in my application, but hey, no messing around with safety!

seems legit
has a fuse built in (mine came with no spares)i doubt anything is gonna blow up im running a simple 5v power supply off itkeep your butterfingers away from 120v AC terminals with this nice switchuses generic 3 prong pc power cable that you probably already have- the leads themselves are prewiredlike other reviews stated, check your work before powering on with a multimeter (continuity test) - although I will say you should be doing that anyways before applying electricity to untested circuitsdont just trust random people online or other peoples work / color coding CHECK where they go i dont remember if the ground colors were "universal standard" or not but i literally dont care because i check my connections as im not part monkey

Great Accessory for Your Projects
The media could not be loaded. I cannot stress how helpful the pre-attached wiring makes this little switch. It takes most of the stress out of connecting wall power to my projects. Just a minute to verify which wire connects to which prong and I can wire it up without concern.I used this to provide power to a MAME cabinet I stuffed into a briefcase. The switch has a solid feel to it and it lights up nice & bright when it's flipped to ON. Power plugs insert easily and with a snug but not difficult fit. Wire quality is pretty good, being thick enough to work easily. There were two in the pack. Now I need another project...

Revised Feedback! They've updated the switch design and it's better!
So I needed another switch for another 3D printer build and noticed in the pictures the switch button itself has been revised to a smaller one, so hopefully it's more reliable. I purchased 2 so now I have a backup just in case. These things are dead simple to install with just 3 wires ready to go electrical connectors and all!Wow this was super simple to connect and it color matched the power cord I removed, color for color. Was literally done in about 5 minutes from the time I opened the package. I had to clean-up my print job a little to make it fit. Now I can easily turn-off my printer!Update: Only lasted 1 yr & 4 months. It broke and I have to buy a new one. Buying a different brand as I've hardly used my 3D printer.
