Check your mirror threads before buying this
Many negative reviews mention bad threads on the right side... some bikes have reverse-threads on the right mirror, others don't. Make sure you're buying the correct set for your bike. For my purposes, these threaded right in by hand, snugged right up, work perfectly, and look great.

They work, but sloppy hardware
I have a 1983 XJ900 Seca, and one of my few complaints about this bike is that the mirrors are too short. All I can see are my elbows. I don't like not being able to see if someone is barreling down on me from behind while not paying attention. These extenders looked like they might help, and they weren't too expensive, so I figured it was worth a shot.Good news and bad news. The good news is that they do seem to help and give me a better view to the rear. The bad news is the hardware isn't so great. This bike, as well as many other Yamahas requires a left-hand thread on one side and a right-hand thread on the other. This kit has both the left and right versions, which is a good thing. However, the left-hand threaded bolt is cut poorly. The whole body of the bolt is crooked/bent and as a result it can't be screwed all the way in without damaging the threads of the perch. On top of that, the two hex heads on the bolts are different sizes: One requires a 6mm hex wrench, the other requires an 8mm. Why?! It's silly to need a different wrench for each side. All I can think of is maybe somebody thought it would be easier to tell them apart? Who knows. Just seems sloppy to me.The bolts aren't great quality either. Aside from being bent, they feel like just plated chrome and have rough edges, which may tend to rust over time. I wish they were better stainless-steel bolts.Since I need these for an upcoming ride this weekend and there isn't time to send them back for replacement, I made do using some washers as a spacer so I didn't have to screw the bolt all the way in. I don't like having fewer threads engaged though so when the ride is over, I will probably try to exchange and hope for better hardware. The extenders themselves seem pretty decent though. The mirrors threaded in nicely. They have an attractive anodized finish which blends nicely with the bike's aesthetic. If it weren't for the poor-quality hardware I probably would have given them 5 stars. They are an economical way to solve a problem. As is I have to ding a couple. I'll try to update if I get better bolts with the next one.Update: I went ahead and started the return since Amazon will ship a replacement before you return the old one. I was thrilled when it arrived in just one day, so there's still time to make the swap before the ride. The hardware with the new one is much better. No crooked bolt, both hex sockets are the same 6mm, and even the plating looks better on these. I'll raise my rating to 4 stars. Only reason I don't say 5 is because they shouldn't have shipped the lousy hardware the first time. Poor quality control.

Works great
Works great for using the stock Svartpilen 401 mirrors. Very impressed with the field of view, my wife stood right behind the bike and I could see her opposite shoulder. Highly recommend. So much adjustment

Now I can see traffic behind me.
So, I’m a big guy. I’m taller and wider than many people who ride a Royal Enfield Himalayan. I would move my head to see traffic behind me. In the mirror was mostly my arms and torso. I tried to use different mirrors but they did work out for the same reasons. This hardware was easy to install and adjust. Today I took them for ride and with a little more fine adjustments they just work. The extension hardware pushes the original mirrors a little higher and a little wider, just like me! Now the round mirrors are filled with the traffic behind and only a little bit of my arms. No more moving my head to look into the rear view mirrors. Just a little eye movement and the view is clear to the rear.I was looking at $85 to $150 mirrors to change out the OEM mirrors. But with these $12 extensions I don’t need the other mirrors, get a great rear view, and I save tons of money in the process.

Buyers be warned.
Be advised that the threads are opposite of each other, one is left hand and one is right handed. This product will not work on a Vulcan S 650 due to both threads are left hand threads. I'm leaving the one star review due to the bolts are castings and have broken threads on arrival in a undamaged package.

23 Yamaha XV250 mirror extension!
Excellent fit finish and quality. Great value! I can actually see whats behind me now when out riding instead of getting a mirror full of shoulder. Yamaha complicates things by using LH threads on the right mirror, and RH threads on the lift. This here is the ticket! Thank You!

2022 MT10 perfect fit
Fits 2022 MT10 perfectlyIt does exactly what it's supposed to do and makes the mirrors actually usable rather than looking at your shoulders.Unfortunately the 2022 mt10 mirrors are useless and this remedies that problem ifbyour not looking to get barend mirrors

Got one wrong screw
The kit should bring 2 different screws one for each side, I got 2 for the left side. Reorder the same kit again and did get it right the second time
