This UPS has done me well. Being a lower power unit it can be hung on the wall with its rear screw slots. Bought a second piece just for the TV and peripherals. For the price I added one to my security system. I generally need them for the occasional brownouts and when the generator kicks on. This is not really meant for long durations, just mainly protection in my case. These have served me for many years now.

I bought this UPS unit to supply electricity to my powered recliner in the event of a power failure. I experienced such a power failure a couple of years while i was sitting in the chair in a partially reclined position. Since the footrest was automatically extended, I had no easy way to get out of the chair by myself (my wife helped pull me out). I should have bought this UPS then, but I put it off. A few weeks ago, I was forced to take action. I was sleeping in the recliner for a couple weeks due to back injury when we got a warning about an ice storm headed our way the next day. I wasted no time in placing the order for this unit and Amazon responded by getting it to me the next day. After fully charging the battery, I tested it by unplugging the UPS from the wall and running the recliner up and down while no one was in it. That worked fine, so I got in and did full recline followed by full upright, which also went off without a hitch. There is a tone that sounds every few seconds when the power goes out, which switches to several times per second when the battery is nearly depleted. This is the only way to know if it is time to stop using the UPS to power the recliner until the battery has been recharged. The UPS appears to have ample power to take care of the recliner for many days. Its relatively small footprint and discrete height helps it to remain fairly inconspicuous in our family room. It met my needs in full and I only wish I had bought it sooner.

Excellent product, keeps my electronics running through power surges and outages! I've noticed though that it does not like when I run two consoles at once, guessing it can't handle the power load. I was playing on my Xbox one and had to boot up my PS5 real quick, and the UPS started making these long beeps, different than the noise it makes when it loses power. I lost my guide though so I'm assuming it's letting me know I'm using more power than it can handle? It stopped after I shut my PS5 off.

I would recommend anybody buying a CyberPower product to get a model that can use their PowerPanel Personnel software.Many of the models, like this ST625U, can use the software. The software is especially useful if your using it on a desktop computer that is plugged into the CyberPower battery backup. As the software has some easy to use power runtime features for such a computer installation, in addition to all the other AC backup and alarm features.I've had my ST625U since October 2024, so far so good.

This is the first UPS I ever invested in and it hasn't inspired much confidence. After building a new PC, I figured I should probably get a UPS to replace the surge protector I'd been using for upwards of a decade. It seems like I get one or two random split second power surges every other month or so, and I liked the prospect of not actually losing power on my PC during those times.Yesterday, out of nowhere, this thing forced my PC power off accompanied with a grating, continuous alarm. I switched all my power buttons off, disconnected the UPS from the wall, then plugged it back in and reconnected everything before powering back up. Seemed fine, so I was willing to write it off as a freak accident -- but then it did it again a few hours later when I was in bed, so I immediately switched back to my old surge protector.I don't know if it's just a faulty unit or what, but I also shouldn't have to worry about whether or not the thing that's supposed to prevent me from losing power is actually going to be the thing that CAUSES me to lose power. And of course it happens right after the 30 day return window ends, too. I'm willing to accept that I'm likely an outlier here and I could have just been shipped a dud, but losing power BECAUSE of a UPS is still something that I didn't think I'd have to worry about.

Good small easy to hide backup power supply for small household devices that needs to be charged in the event of a power outage.
