I tried it today and I’m incredibly happy with the results!! My expectations weren’t for this to straighten my hair, just loosen my 4a curls in the back of my head. The front curls are already looser (3a/3c) from straightening with heat so I wanted to blend them and help with my styling routine of always having to stretch the curls in the back to match the length of the rest of my hair when curly (when straight, it’s all one length). I bought the clarifying shampoo and mask and used as directed but left the pieces out that didn’t need it. I blowdried all of my hair with my regular comb attachment, not a brush, to activate the treatment and straightened (at 390 degrees). I didn’t do a meticulous job straightening since this was my first time using this product and didn’t want heat damage. I basically just went over my hair 2-3 times, really quickly, focusing mainly just on the hair I wanted stretched. I didn’t straighten as I would if I was actually styling my hair. I immediately washed afterwards and styled as usual. The hair in the back now matches the front and I gained a full inch to 1.5 inches in the back!! I will say there is slight smell. Smells like carpet that’s been freshly vacuumed when you have a pet. It’s not terribly strong but it’s there. I’m hoping it will wash out with time but for me it’s worth it for the benefit it provided on my hair. I use string smelling products so that helps. I’ll probably be more meticulous with straightening next time I use this to see how it really works but thought it best to err on the side of caution for the first use. The frizz is still there but my hair is incredibly frizzy to begin with and I didn’t use it exactly as directed. Hope this review helps!

This was the best product and price keratin I have ever bought! I am excited to see how it works! Great package with a lot of items and not just straightening lotion! Big bottles!!

I used this product on 12/24/2024 last evening. I am very pleased with the outcome. My hair is coarse and wavy in texture and thick. I generally use relaxers to straighten my hair. I was leery of what Keratin treatment product to use because very few distributors have pictures with (African Americans) Black individuals using the products (no disrespect to anyone from other cultures). I saw a young woman on youtube discussing smooth and her hair is like mine. I ordered this product 12/21/2024 received it 12/22/2024. I did the whole process on 12/24/2024 which took about 2024 and I am so pleased. Bouncy, straight at the scalp and shiny. No more relaxers for me!

It improves the hair quality a little but it is not effective as expected

I’m wavy and it gets the hair a little bit more straighter but very frizzy, my ends got very very dry, they were okay and now they are white and frizzy, it stills being wavy in some spots
