Was not even use this product since software cannot be installed due to passkey attach is Invalid....Just wasted my time.

Among a barrel of lousy converters, this one is an exception. With no trouble it converted to digital an old family VHS tape which I then sent to a cloud account to share with the family. Will use both composite and (better) S-video conversions. I use a Mac. The included software works but will not allow editing. Use Mac software for that. Windows users have editing functions on the enclosed full-size CD, according to the instructions. A serial number is needed to use the software and is included on the software envelope. Competitor's products I've bought and returned also need an SN but those sellers failed to provide it or any way to get it. If you have the usual home internet service, prepare to spend a long time uploading the digital file. My 29 minute tape made a 4+ gb file that took 2 hours to send to google. It would be faster if you sent it after 1 AM when the broadband carrier is less busy. My comcast upload speed which tests to 6 mb (70 download) was only providing 2.3 mb in the evening hours due to heavy traffic. You won't be impressed by the quality, at least I wasn't. And with VHS tapes like mine, forget full screen playback in digital. The quality struggles with it.
