NiteRider Swift Headlight with Tail Light Combo

These lights work great for the price. The lights are plenty bright to be able to see the street or let any one know you're there when riding in the city. The one flaw is that the charging ports are on the bottom of the lights. Riding in the winter means lots of dirt, water, and salt on the road and I found the caps over the charge can fall out, letting the debris in. This lead to needing some delicate cleaning out of the charging port so I could recharge it when it died. Along with this, if you're taking them on and off a lot, the straps can wear out. The straps on the front light on mine frayed and broke so now its held on by zip ties. The light itself still works but the mounting failed.Overall, I recommend these for someone who keeps the above points in mind and can live with it. I can, finding solutions around it but I know some just want a set and forget light.

I got this because I was very impressed with the lumina micro version by NiteRider. The light itself worked well but the charge port on the Swift is flawed. The rubber charge port cover partially blocks the port making it very difficult to connect a charge cable. To make matters worse the interior of the port dropped into the light housing on my first attempt to charge the light. Returned this badly designed light and got another lumina micro. My micro survived hitting the road at over 20 mph with only minor cosmetic damage. The lumina also has a much more solid charge port which works properly with over a year of heavy use.

Bright and reliable. I have a set on both of our commuter bikes. They hold charge reliably and are easy to recharge at home or work. Please remember that if you have it set to flash and let the battery deplete you will need to reset it to the desired flash rate(it forgets and resets to its default).

Work very well and seem well made. Battery life seems pretty long. Easy to recharge. Lots of versatility in settings.

these are great and bright. Just take them off bike so they dont get stolen

So far so good definitely worth the but if you are a daily commuter and want to be seen.Rubber straps we're my only concern but they seem very durable and are easy to take on and off.

Good design. Rear red light operated out of the box-bright. Front light did not work. Charged light fully : did not work. Either the switch or led was faulty. Poor quality control. Suggest finding other alternative with better QC.

Works as promised, not bulky and very bright!
