The insert is the perfect size to get a UK 13 amp plug through with no issues. I have fitted them into a piece of kitchen worktop with no problems.The insert has ridges around the top of the insert in order to ensure a secure fixing and I must say I am really impressed with the build quality. The GTV desk cable grommet is really good quality and for this reason I give it five stars. However it was delivered in a thin poly bag, so how it arrived in one piece is either testament to the product, or a miracle. Choose despatched by Amazon if you want appropriate packaging.
