Perfect for maintenance on your gardens! Super time saver!.
I had originally tilled my gardens last year with a bigger 40 volt cultivator and that had knocked through the hard pan dirt we had very surprisingly. Now with this guy, It's a bit smaller and more lightweight, but that just means to me I don't have to work as hard to till the areas that have already been told previous years. This is lightweight and it's got two batteries so one you're using and the other one is your back up. It cut through my old garden with ease. I actually really like having the two sizes because I can have the larger one to do the bigger jobs, but on a daily basis I can use this one, that's a lot easier for me to handle; without too much effort and it does the job well.I wasn't sure at first if I was going to like it just because I had the larger one. Well I think I actually like this one better because it is a lot more lightweight and easier to handle. As I get older in the years, I don't last as long as I used to when outside working in the garden and I don't like to push her on that heavy equipment as much as I used to. My back just can't take it. That's why this one is just right for me.I was able to go through both of my quite large gardens with this guy, that I put in last year; before running out of both batteries. It was ready to start planting in no time at all!I would definitely recommend this to somebody that wants to keep their garden beds cultivated and soft. It may not be perfect for first breaking ground somewhere that there's a lot of rocks or there's hard pan. The tines are a little bit thinner and so I think they would probably bend easily. The good part about that is they're easy to bend back too. However, someone that has already cut ground would easily be able to maintain it with this machine. It's actually got decent charging time too. This is a really good value for what you gain in return!

Underpowered for INITIAL ground tilling,
Pretty impressed after tilling an 8x5 plot that hasn't been turned over in a couple years. It is as described, a battery powered Tiller/cultivator. It WILL till/turn soil, even with light weeds/grasses, however it does lack the torque you might need if you're trying to break in hard packed ground, especially if there's rocks within. The tines are fairly thin and will bend when striking rock. Just bend them back with pliers. Little pebbles are fine, but anything bigger than a lemon, you don't really want to run into. With 2 3.0Amp Hour batteries, you can get in about 10-15x2 minutes of medium level tilling. Takes a few hours to charge. For your small plot gardens, that have ALREADY been broken down, this is a fine maintenance tool to clear weeds and grasses. It'll bust thru crab grass chunks pretty well.Don't expect the functionality of a big gas powered tiller that's for 12-20 inches deep, this is more for flower beds with potting soils and nicely worked soil that has already been cultivated before. It'll turn over 6-8 inches deep fairly well. If your soil is loose already, it can get deeper, but you can see from the size, it's not a heavy duty type piece of equipment. It's convenient and relatively mess-free.

Medium duty with two batteries!
Great powered tiller. I love that it comes with two batteries. It is not super strong but for the size of the tool it is adequate and functional. Assembly was super easy, just be careful attaching the blades part as there were a few rough edges. This is the part that is going to get beat up in the ground so it's really only a concern when assembling. Otherwise it works very well.

Better than digging with a shovel
The Garden Rototiller is a powerful little machine. You need to be careful when you first try to use it, but once you get the hang of it the machine works great. It comes with an extra battery which is nice , so when one battery runs out you can use the other and recharge the first one without stopping. I got the machine for my sprinkler system. I need to run a few new lines and this machine cuts a trench 9.5 inch wide and 6.7 inch deep which in Florida is perfect for the new sprinkler line. Like I said once you get the hang of it the process of digging goes pretty fast as compared to digging with a shovel.

Perfect for smaller spaces!
The media could not be loaded. I was really expecting to have to put in a lot of elbow grease using this tiller. Boy, was i surprised! Those little teeth(blades?) Just tore through my garden areas! I'm on very limited space so I have 5 smaller gardens in different areas. This tiller had all of them tiller at least 3 or 4 inches deep, in no time! Also, all of the weeds wrap around the blades. This does result in frequent stopping to clean them off, but once you have most of the top soil tiller that's not a big deal. We were able to get all 5 garden nooks(crannies maybe?), tiller and ready now for seeds and bulbs. This tiller is heavy, but thats to be expected. Its not much heavier thana battery powered weed whacker! I couldn't find a tiller anywhere to borrow and I didn't have a lot to rent one either. Now, I have my own and I do really like it!

Grass growth
Works very well. Bought a house and needed to plant grass seeds and this definitely made the job alot more easier. Not too heavy? But does have some weight to it of course.
