The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night (PS2)

This was definitely a steer away from the normal Spyro and whilst maybe not as good as some of the other Spyro games I still enjoyed although not as much as others. This game is harder and almost feels like it is aimed at adults rather than kids. This game hasn't put me off Spyro and I still love the little purple dragon!

This is a complete change from the normal Spyro. All you seem to do is fight the enemy. I got a couple of levels in and gave up because of the repetative nature of this game, especially when you could do with a save feature to stop this. Gave this a 3 overall rating because the game has good graphics and would be ok if you like this sort of genre, but not for me.

Love it!! Love Spyro! Great game! I just can't get enough of these little gems! I wouldn't hesitate to buy any of the Spyro titles. I think I have them all now and I rotate them

Well, I'm not even halfway through the game and have given up on it. I'm very disenchanted with it.Its not fun because its too hard.I also have every Spyro game and this is without a doubt the poorest.No cuteness, no going back to previous levels to finish off the bits you needed new powers for! No buying the next one until they go back to a more original format!

I loved 'spyro, a new beginning' and was really sad when i finished it because i liked it that much! now i have the new one 'spyro, an eternal night' my sadness is over as it carries straight on from the last game.i haven't got very far but it's better: it's more challenging which is a great thing as whats the point of a playstation game if all you have to do is catch a butterfly and look at a flower! SO WHAT IF THERES A LOT OF FIGHTING AND STUFF LIKE THAT! i think thats what makes it so fun!

I felt this game strayed away from Spyro, was too hard to be a Spyro game to be fair. =/

The eternal night has a dark element to it and is a very good installation as the second game to the legend trilogy. The package arrived on time and in very good condition.
