Economical, healthy and versatile
Laila kala chana is a great addition to soups, stews and casseroles to add a great oomph to protein and add a great texture. Also excellent to use cooked and cooled for making delicious healthy hummus, which is great on sandwiches, with crudités or add a dressing and herbs to add protein to your salads. Definitely one the most economical, versatile and healthy ingredients in the kitchen!
