Seems to work ok
This seems to work ok for my wife. It wasn't clear what the mechanism was, but it seems to be an electrical stimulation device. It doesn't really get rid of the cramps, but it does help to ease them a bit. I think, based on the listing, it was a bit hard to tell how it actually worked, but overall, it seems to be a pretty decent device for easing cramps.

basically, a compact TENS device
If I had realized this is basically a small TENS unit I probably wouldn't have gotten it as I already have similar devices. That said, it is small/compact and easy to use.

Pricy Tiny Tens
This pulsing electrode unit is basically a more portable and usage limited TENS. Marketing makes it seem unique but it’s honestly rather gimmicky. The usage range is limited by short leads, really diminishing the value for me. Functionality is basic. Clipping onto clothing is handy, but if dealing with longer connection leads doesn’t bother you I’d recommend a pocketable regular TENS/EMS unit for better pain distraction and mode variety. The buttons can easily be triggered with light contact, which kind of eliminates the convenience factor.

Electrical stimulation to distract from/disrupt pain
My wife says: The description for this Paingone - Ellune - Pocket Sized Period Pain Relief Device - Instant Period Cramps Pain Relief in the product listing wasn't clear at all - it just promises pain relief without talking at all about the mechanism for said pain relief, so I was curious how this thing worked. It's just a small, home-use electrical stimulation device, similar to those used in physical therapy, so I don't see any reason that can't be specified in the product description. It's a cute, small device that can clip to your pocket or waistband, and is advertised for period/cramping relief, but would also work quite well for back pain. I do wish the wire leads were longer, so you could use it in more locations (i.e., upper back instead of just lower back). It's fairly simple and intuitive to use, but there is a long and short set of instructions to help you set up the device. It charges well and lasts quite a while, so you can bring it with you and wear throughout the day. The stimulation can get pretty intense, so should do a great job of disrupting your pain. I personally enjoy the sensation of electrical stimulation on painful areas and find it effective for pain management, so am happy with this device. The sensation is a steady, buzzing nerve stimulation rather than a pulse. Note that it comes with 3 sets of the gel pads needed for adhering the silicone pads, so you'll eventually need to replace them and the materials say that only company gel pads are compatible with the device. Once you adhere the gel pads to the silicone pads, you should leave them in place until they stop being sticky - trying to remove them for storage only messes up the pad and makes it difficult to use again.

Small and easy to use
Very easy and simple to use especially compared to other menstrual cramps devices using TENS technology. It’s great that it’s small and therefore easy to carry around. It’s also lightweight. I can basically wear it anytime under my clothes and no one would know. The con is that it’s quite pricey.

Easy to use, directions are accurate, small and compact, actually helps
Easy to use. Directions are accurate. Small and compact. It actually helps and relieve significantly bad cramps. Its easy to wear and carry on you daily. There is a carrying or holding case for it as well. No-one would even know you are wearing or using it. I've tried so many things in the past and its either bulky, you have to use it laying down or its just not strong enough. This passes the test! Totally worth it.

This is just a TENS unit
It says right on the box, "Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator for Pain Relief."A TENS unit is a Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator. The brand's own website says this:Ellune is a TENS device for the temporary relief of menstrual pain and discomfort for primary dysmenorrhea, when the pain associated with menstruation is not caused by any underlying gynaecological disorder.Nothing in the description says anything about leads. In some of the pictures there is a visible wire protruding from the device, but nothing indicates what they're for.
