It is literally useless
It is literally useless. I mean it opens and shuts on power. But as soon as there is the slightest bit of pressure against the latch. Such as from a door, it doesn't open. It's energises but next to zero force. The slights push against the door with mu finger and the latch suddenly opens.Only use this if you know 100% that there is going to zero, and I mean zero pressure on the latch.

Very strong but gets too hot.
I used this for an ardunio project, I put it inside my door. The lock it very story I tried kicking the door and it would budge.One complaint would be that when itās got power to it (unlocked) it gets very hot and I worry it will break or be a fire hazard.

Very very weak
Supplying it with a 3a 12v supply and the latch has no power, slightest bit of friction and it doesn't retract. It wouldn't pull the skin of a rice pudding.

Pull strength very poor.
This lock works as described, but will not operate if there is the slightest sideways force on the bolt mechanism when in the locked position.The solenoid is just not strong enough to overcome any side ways force at all so was useless for my application which was a lightly spring loaded secret drawer.

Weight stops these from working
The solenoid worked as described but if there is any force or weight on the mechanism it doesnāt fire. As a result these were a waste of money
