Nostalgia and usefulness in one phone 🫶🏻
I recently started using the Oakcastle F300 Mobile Phone, and it’s been a fantastic experience! First off, the support for 2G, 3G, and 4G networks is excellent, ensuring strong connectivity no matter where I am. The Bluetooth connectivity is also seamless and allows me to quickly connect to other devices without any hassle. One of the standout features is the battery life – it easily lasts over 5 days on a single charge, which is incredibly convenient. The phone also comes with a handy charging dock, making it super easy to keep charged without fiddling with cables. For added peace of mind, the SOS button is an invaluable feature, especially for emergencies or those who need a little extra security. The built-in camera is a nice touch as well, great for quick snaps when needed. The FM radio is another bonus, providing entertainment on the go without needing internet. The user-friendly buttons make navigation simple, perfect for anyone who wants an easy-to-use, no-fuss phone. Overall, the Oakcastle F300 is a reliable, well-designed phone with all the essentials and then some!

Ideal phone for seniors with large numbers
Great phone for my 91 yr old mum. Large numbers and easy ish to use. Having to unlock every time it’s used a bit of an issue for mum but otherwise perfect. Would recommend for seniors.

No use as an emergency phone for an older person
This phone has a 15 second lock. Once locked, two buttons need to be pressed in sequence. An elderly person who requires this for emergency use would easily get into a muddle particularly if they are in distress. The menu appears to have the option to allow to change this, but the change does not save, leaving the 15 second lock. The screen is small and low resolution, making it hard to read. Cellular reception is relatively poor when compared side by side with another phone.

Not suitable for older people - too complex to set up and use
Bought this for my 93 year old grandma when her landline phone was down and it is far too complex to set up for her never mind for her to use. It diverts all calls to answer phone with no way to change this setting on it, it doesn't have an option to change the ring tone to one that is suitable or recognisable to an older person. The screen isn't big enough for an older person to be able to read clearly.

Fabulous phone
This really is a great phone. So many super features for seniors, large buttons, clear screen and exceptional volume. This phone really delivers - I thoroughly recommend it.

Perfect 4g phone for the elderly!
The Oakcastle F300 is the perfect phone for my elderly relative. She has swapped to this from a more expensive Panasonic elderly phone due to how simple this is to operate and the ease of viewing messages in particular. Her eye sight is not the best and she hates tech, but was able to get the hang of the oakcastle in just 15 minutes, able to answer the phone, charge using the cradle (an absolute must have!) and view and scroll messages. The 4g capability is essential in her area, and the sos button gives more security and a quick way for her to reach out if needed without needing to unlock the phone (which is just pressing 2 buttons anyway). Highly recommended.
