CAMIXA Women's Gingham Shirt Checkered Casual Long Sleeve Button Down Plaid Top

I waited until I had worn and washed the shirt before reviewing it. I originally ordered the large, and re-ordered the shirt in size x- large for a little longer sleeve length. The shoulder was just a bit wider in the larger size, but actually fine - no pulling across the back or gaping buttons across the front and because the cut overall is slimmer, I don't have billows of fabric around my waist and arms. If I could wish for anything, it would be for the body length to be longer so I could wear the shirt untucked (I'm 5'9"). However, it does stay tucked into my jeans nicely.I machine-washed in cold water and hung to dry. No shrinkage, no fading (the color is really pretty!), and touch-up ironing minimal. I appreciated care instructions and a follow-up letter from the seller checking to see if I was happy with my purchase. Why, yes I am happy and will order more colors and patterns - as soon as I decide which!!

I ordered the XXL even though it is one size larger than my usual petite XL and I'm very glad I did. I would say that these shirts run slightly smaller than the measurements on the chart. This is not a boyfriendbig' shirt with a straight cut. The sides/waist taper slightly and so, a larger size is needed for my waist and hips. The main reason I like this shirt is because it is 100 percent cotton that is not treated with wrinkle resistant chemicals. I've been searching for a long time for a cotton shirt just like this and my only gripe is that it is a tiny bit long on my 5'2 frame. It hangs like a tunic with high sides hitting at my hip. The sleeves are a bit long but that's not a huge issue for me. There are two buttons on the cuff for adjustment and the sleeves can be easily rolled up. The cotton is super soft and not heavy and I've washed and dried mine on low and it came out without a wrinkle. The seams match and the pocket matches and is undetectable. I will be able to wear this shirt in hot humid weather. The shirts are packaged very well.UPDATE: I now have the black, lavender and red/white/blue shirts and love them all. I think the lavender color seems a little bit larger than the others but I don't mind at all. I don't wear fitted shirts but hate sloppy looking big shirts so these are perfect for me. There is plenty of room in the chest for me ( I wear a 38-40C) and although it may seem a bit 'relaxed' , it drapes beautifully and doesn't look sloppy and doesn't wrinkle like linen does. I usually wear this shirt un-tucked with slim pants/jeans and it looks fine but I also wear it tied.

** I have edited my review to add one additional star for customer service and to correct the size I ordered from XS to S. I received a very thoughtful, personalized note from Camixa customer service, which I appreciated. **For the price, I expected a bit more quality. It's not as good as a J Crew or BR shirt, which you can get for the same price or less when they are on sale.My biggest issue is that the neck was huge - like I could put my thigh in it. With the shirt totally open, it would be okay, but with the shirt buttoned, it was very obviously out of proportion.The fabric and stitching were fine. I've attached a photo to show a "run" in the fabric above the front pocket, which Camixa apologized for not noticing. The seams all looked put together well enough.I am small chested and usually wear a 2 in shirts, and the Small was a good fit in terms of shoulders and sleeves, aside from the neck being very large. Be aware that the body fit is definitely boyfriend style, not slim-fit, and the Small was fine in that regard, too -- it was a relaxed fit, but not too big. All in all, the shirt is okay, just not great.

The material is great. (It even looks fine un-ironed lol). The fit is a bit looser than I anticipated especially around the shoulder area but that's because I ordered larger thinking the material might shrink (it doesn't). I'm 34D and ordered XXL and there is so much room. I think an XL would have been better. But it's ultimately very comfortable and you can easily dress up or down. I highly recommend it and I'll get some more in different colors.

LOVE this blouse! Soft fabric, great details on stitching and buttons!! Arrived quick and love it so much. I wish it came in pink/white, red/white, black/white, dark navy/white, I would buy every color!!! I'm 34D and between a 10-12 blouse USA size and this fits great. So awesome.

This is a great looking shirt. I ordered a medium based on the measurement chart which was almost exactly what was described on the chart. The chart was actually 1" larger than the measured shirt so I thought it would be ok. However, the medium is so tight under the arms it is miserable. Also, it is snug all over and through the bust. I am going to order the next size and hope for the best.

Another beautiful shirt by CAMIXA. This is my fourth (the others are a thick linen) and is a fine soft cotton and has a feminine cut--no darting, not sure why it feels feminine, its definitely not your boyfriends shirt. I am 5;7, 140 and like a looser fit. The large fits nicely and can be tucked in or worn lose.

Beautifully styled, fit is really cute. I'm 5'6", 120, 34D. Bought this in a size M. On me, fit is tapered & feminine, shoulders, sleeves & hem length perfect. This top was designed in Australia, however, sewn in China . ( Loose threads on 4 of the buttons & hem. ) I was so impressed with this shirt that I have ordered one in a different style. You'll be impressed too!
