VoltarolNaturals Organic Plant-Based Cooling and Soothing Gel 50ml

I am familiar with the more usual version of Voltarol, which I have used in the past, therefore when I saw this new version, I decided to give it a try.Voltarol Naturals is a Vegan and organic muscle gel which contains six plant and herbal extracts. It also contains no animal or animal-derived ingredients which is a major plus, as far as I am concerned.🔹OPINION🔹&🔹CONCLUSION🔹When I squeezed some out of the tube, I was expecting to see a clear gel, however, this product has a definite greenish tinge to it which could be a little off-putting, though I suppose it re-enforces the natural element.The description says “unscented”, but it does have a smell, which is not overpowering or unpleasant, and I can definitely smell the peppermint. It is certainly not a clinical smell like the original Voltarol formula.When applying it to the skin it absorbs quickly and leaves no sticky residue. It is also non-greasy. I used it because I had strained a muscle in my upper arm after helping my partner by lifting a piece of OSB wood (my own fault, I know!) The gel provided great relief, and at the moment my arm is not aching at all. Containing Arnica, it is also suitable for bruising. I have applied it to a bruise on my leg, and it did feel pleasant and cooling.In conclusion, I am very happy with the results of this product, and as someone who prefers not to take oral painkillers this is a product I will keep in my medicine cabinet. I very much agree with using natural products where possible, so I would now choose this over the alternatives for muscle pain relief.Thank you for reading my review, and I hope you have found it helpful.EDIT: Whilst clearing the garage over the weekend, I hit my shin on a metal bar. It really hurt and I knew I would end up with whacking bruise. I then remembered this product, which contains arnica, and put it on straight away, as the sooner you apply it to a bruise, the better. Although my leg was still hurting the cool gel was soothing, and it definitely took the pain away. The bruise is still visible, but I definitely feel that this gel made the bruise less painful and heal quicker than if I had not used it.

I found this helpful with an aching back muscle. No irritation or problems with my skin at all. Very useful to keep in the cupboard.

I've been using Voltarol for years to help with my knees and the stiffness and aching I get especially after sports which after playing for too many years are the cause of said pain. When I saw this new gel I thought I'd give it a go and especially liked the sound of the organic ingredients it boasts, however whilst it does provide some cool soothing as you apply it and the smell is really quite pleasant, I wouldn't say it's anywhere as good as the other pain relief products they sell. It does help to a certain degree and I stuck with it until the tube was fully used, but any relief it provides was short lived, at least for me. I'll be sticking with Voltarol, it just won't be this particular gel.

First time to try this variant. I love the scent cos it smells therapeutic and relaxing already. Very easy to use. Absorbs to skin fast and relieves tensed muscles and pain for a long period of time. We are regular users of Voltarol and will consider buying this variant again.

I’ve been using Voltarol for years to help with muscle pains and have found it to really helpful so I was happy to receive the new Voltarol Naturals variety to try.I like that it’s plant based and suitable for vegans. The gel is easy to apply and does feel soothing particularly after a workout. I like that it dries down quickly and doesn’t leave a sticky residue so your clothes don’t stick to it.As I’ve been using the standard Voltarol for so long it was easy to compare. I’d say that standard Voltarol is slightly more effective but if you’re vegan or otherwise environmentally conscious, this is definitely the product for you 😊
