Good quality, quick delivery, all good.

Being quite a large and fragile nut I was surprised to find the walnuts had survived well in transit and there were very few small pieces of nut in the bag. The taste was mostly very good although I did find a few of the nuts a little bitter. However given the excellent value for money and the resealable bag that keeps them fresh I would certainly recommend these to anyone who enjoys walnuts.

Nature's Balance products all seem to have a consistently high quality, having ordered several of them around the same time; these walnuts are no exception, even to being mostly whole (although there are the likely unavoidable proportion of broken nuts in the pack, no real harm as they still taste the same). One thing to note is that there is quite a lot of powdered walnut in the pack, each nut seeming to have a light coating of it, but other than texturally it is fairly unnoticeable (although might result in some burning if you were to toast them too vigorously). As far as flavour goes they are excellent, even raw as they are supplied; obviously they can be cooked in various ways for various applications, but I find them satisfying enough to snack on raw (which is admittedly where most of this pack has gone so far!). The package itself features a ziplock which seems fairly secure, although a sturdier airtight container would be a better bet if storing for the long term. Overall, the price for a kilo of walnuts, particularly this good, is a bargain; worth a go if you're looking for a good supply.
