Clearly not a great life expectancy !!
After retiring in October 2019, I thought that I might enjoy a little carp and barbel fishing with my newfound freedom. Having equipped myself with all of the appropriate tackle, I perhaps optimistically purchased a set of Saber 55 pond scales complete with pouch and lifting handle. Shortly after purchase I disappeared over to Florida For the Winter months, only to end up stranded until August of 2020 by the COVID crisis. Upon my return I enjoyed a wonderful day of carp fishing, when I had the opportunity to use the scales for the third or perhaps fourth time. Imagine my delight to find that they would not return to zero after the first fish weighed, remaining at 19 pounds thereafter ! I contacted Saber tackle and explained the situation but, because I had owned the scales for just over 12 months ( of which I was stranded in America for nine ) they were not prepared to repair or replace the scales. Am I alone in believing that a set of scales should work for more than 3-4 weighing days !! This is really poor customer service and I will certainly not make any future purchases from Saber Tackle. Shame on you !!
