Installed this in a closet and bolted it to 2x4 behind sheetrock. Appears to be good quality.

Nice to be able to store a handgun, jewelry, medication or small documents that you don't want your kids to get into or if you're trying to sell your house and need to keep those things out of sight. I can imagine building something like this into the wall and putting a frame over it. The safe is very light and I'm sure if someone really wanted to, they could bust into it. I like having the backup keys so you could give them to someone you trust.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a "medium security" hotel style safe. The door is 3mm thick steel, while the rest of the safe body is 1.5mm thick steel. It comes with two emergency backup keys that will allow you to open the safe if the battery dies or you forget the code. It also comes with an emergency battery backup box, that allows you to power the electronics externally if the internal batteries die. [If the batteries die completely, it forgets the programmed code, and you can use the default "159#' code to open it.]The lock mechanism is reasonably secure (given that it is protected by a simple lock, and the steel is thin enough that an angle grinder could easily cut through it). If somebody rips the front plastic piece off there is an easily accessible hole that the properly shaped stiff wire could be inserted to release the latch. It may also be possible to brute force the latching mechanism by turning the plastic ring on the face of the safe. [I suspect the plastic ring would break before the steel latch inside, but there is no clutching mechanism to protect either the latch or the ring, so either the safe will break open, or the safe will break closed.] The circuit board is properly protected inside the steel shell, and I could find no easy way to defeat it electronically using the ribbon cable that feeds out to the keypad.I would feel comfortable leaving a pistol inside this safe to keep it away from children (as long as you never let them see you enter the code), but don't expect it to stop a determined attacker with power tools (or a big pry bar) for long.The safe has four holes (two on the bottom, and two on the back) and includes lag bolts with concrete anchors to bolt it securely to your floor/wall to prevent people from simply carrying the safe off.There is no fire protection inside the steel, so this is for anti-theft purposes, not fire protection. At this price point, I feel it offers a reasonable amount of security, about the same as a hotel safe.

The media could not be loaded.  Just bought and the instructions are easy the inside looks like someone's welding class project but idk what I expected it has holes to mount it on to stuff but I'm going to find something to cover those as I don't want holes in mine ... But all in all it's a 1/5 star for me out of just safety it should come with something to atleast cover the holes not just the soft foam if you don't want to mount it it's 100% not fireproof

Main point is that as the seller states in the listing, this safe must be wall mounted for it to be functional or else someone can just walk off with it because it’s so lightweight. I am not sure of its fireproofing ability due to 2 holes underneath the safe (see pic) However, this is the perfect tool to use when my kids get their phones taken away. Now instead of hiding the phones, I can lock them away. I like that there’s 3 ways to open it rather than just relying on the electronic key pad. Sometimes we forget to change batteries and so if the door doesn’t open, what next? With this safe you can open it with a key or by using the emergency power source included with this set. As for quality, it could be better. My safe came scratched up and as stated above, the 2 holes at the bottom of the safe. Not sure it will keep anything safe from fire or even moisture with the holes. Due to the quality and weight factor, I can’t recommend this safe at this price point.

Heavy duty, seems to be made well. Instructions are ok and I was able to get it up and going easily. Lock functions smoothly.

Easy to set. Sturdy. Nice PIN pad. Not easy to break into lol
