Will it fit a 6ft tree inside ?

Whilst the empty box is a 77L in practice the actual useable volume is more like around 50L in the main compartment. This is because without the 2 supplied shelf inserts the side bow outwards and, the end handles will not click into place properly, meaning the lid will not be held firmly in place. With the shelves in place this seems to be resolved and the expected sturdiness is created.We have a tree which is 8ft high and 3ft wide. We could fit the whole broken down tree without the shelves into a single box. However because the shelves need to be in place we need two boxes.Also be aware if you are intending to stand the box on it's side that you need to pack any fragile decorations carefully to avoid breakages that might occur when the box is tipped up.The dimensions are:External: 1,201 x 270 x 355Internal: 1,135 x 232 x 241 (The trays slot into the base section and reduce the available space). Without the trays the internal space is 34.0cm high(length x width x depth in mm)

24.1cm high x 113.5cm long x 23.2cm deep. Without the trays the internal space is 34.0cm high but the trays slot into the top.

I bought this and it was delivered without any internal storage boxes to fit in the lid. I got the impression that they were included - Was I wrong?

I checked with Really Useful Products. In short they sell two versions of the 77 litre Christmas tree box: one without bauble and light trays (circa £23) and the box with the bauble and light trays (circa £32). To these prices add delivery from thrm (£11.99) plus VAT. Amazon, with their lower delivery costs due to their distribution network, seem to be selling the box without trays for £30! The light and bauble trays are £5.47 each plus £11.99 delivery plus VAT. I have just ordered two light trays and two bauble trays from Really Useful Products at a cost of £35.47 including delivery and VAT. This makes my two individual 77 litre boxes now complete with a light and bauble teay each but at a total cost of £96.15 (£48.08 per complete box) -- very expensive!
